Classic (Draenor) orc lifestyle vs modern orc lifestyle

I'm considering rolling an orc for RP and I want to make him a relatively old orc that has sort of had to liberalize to survive.

But I made this post because I was curious if there were any major differences in the culture and lifestyle between the what the orcs would of practiced and how they would of lived on Draenor versus the modern orcs of the Horde (ignoring technology).

I'm mainly looking for BIG differences, it's not really going to help me to know that orcs in the modern Horde sleep in beds made from Kodo skins instead of a clefthoof.

im going to say the Orcs of the Horde now are much more intelligent/ modernized than the orcs of Draeneor, they were born into the changes of the Horde and are intereacting with a ton of different cultures. And old orc may not like the younger orcs interacting with other young orcs from different "clans" clans arent a huge thing anymore in the new Horde and I assume older orcs could feel disgrunted at the potential loss of identiy. On the flip side you could have young orcs going nuts following Garrosh trying to get into what their parents said about the times on draenor before everything went to shit etc.

I love the more industrial style of the Horde, and wish they'd become more like the Iron Horde. I sort've miss the differences between clan factions. If Garrosh hadn't hated non-orcish races as much, I would have been 100% behind him. He let goblins in, why can't he let the other races in?

well azeroth is diferrent from draenor, draenor was a brutal and savage planet, so the orcs there, and their civilization grow to be brutal and stronger, if not, they could not survie in such hostile planet, when even the plants want to kill you, so, there, technology is not something you focus prior psychical force, even the draenor orcs are bigger than the ones from azeroth ( or maybe is this erlated with the oxygen, like on draenor they have more, so the species can be bigger) also in the old horde, the clans are more Respected and followed to the letter, (but some current ones still follow this tradition like the frostwolfs and the warsongs)

the orcs of azeroths saw that only brute and pure strange is not enough, And one of the main characteristics of orcs is the ability to adapt, so now hey are more modern, industrial and mechanic, more intelligent i can say too, More adept the diversities of our world, bigger classes of fighters and in the use of magic, They really grew and prospered as a society, even on the alliances with others races they become better

And also with the improvement in lifestyle, the perspective of old age become better

Nah, garrosh is 100% rapey villain. Im sure as hell he want to form army of porn-orcs from hentai. And with power of heart of y'sharj, he could make it so chicks get those heart-shaped pupils too.

Also, if there was a kid, he totally gonna damn orcs in yet another annual damnation/redemption orc story arc (orc ?). And thralls kid gotta be redeemer.

Unless the baby is a shaman or holy priest. There is no way in hell the hellscream name will be saved

Blizzard had always decided to make Garrosh a villian. That was the general plan for him since the beginning.

I don't really believe this. Cataclysm portrayed Garrosh rather as someone who is more into war, with good reasons, but has his morals and honor. Really, I think they wanted Garrosh as the new more orcish warchief but I think most of us remember how much the Horde Community whined over Garrosh.

"Buhuhuuuu, our Warchief acts like an Orc not and like a lame-ass Hammerfall-Song, I don't like it, that's too hardcore, I'm triggered!"

Then came Vol'jin, who was a bigger nobody than Lor'thewho and finally they decided to make Sylvanas the Warchief, as she has a bunch of fanboys and is a safe choice.

How about the whole clan thing? Before, you were with a clan and followed the traditions of that clan (for example the Skulltooth painting their faces and some being cannibals or the Shadowmoon being more shamanistic of sorts). Now most clans blended within the Horde. There's hardly any clan diversity left. You could focus on that, depending on which clan your orc comes from.

Also another point is that, also depending on clan, some were nomads. Now orcs live in big metal and stone cities, kind of hard to pack up and leave. And the size of most towns they had back then was small compared to Orgrimmar.

Another point is where they lived. If you look at Draenor, only Gorgorond and Frostfire are more barren, and even then Frostfire wasn't loved by any orc, the Frostwolves got exiled there and Gorgorond still has patches of lush land. Orcs now live in Durotar, one of the most inhospitable deserts.
