Heroic Helya Log Help

Hi there,

So my guild just killed Heroic Helya for the first time last night and at ilvl 874 I pulled 330k dps. That put me in an awful percentile rank for that fight. Though I really am not sure what I was doing wrong due to the fact that my damage breakdown percentages were roughly in line with those people that were parsing higher than me in the same ilvl bracket.

Granted my legendary isn't amazing but there must be more I can be doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mainly your damage on Helya and the major adds is fine, but you're getting tripled up (by other 874's) on Decaying Minion damage. If the adds aren't becoming a problem and/or this isn't assigned to you, then don't worry about it.

Most 874's raid with other people roughly 874, not an 885 Fire mage (with the best legendary he can have for the adds) and elemental shaman that do half their group's damage to the minions. That will throw your "performance" off by a great deal.

Yeah I just main swapped literally last week. I figured this was the case when I was looking at the comps of other people that were parsing better than me. It's still just disheartening I guess.

The adds weren't really a problem but they were dying so fast that I couldn't realllly get too much Starfall dmg rolling. Thanks for the insight.
