At what Point do People just Start Murdering the Rich?

As far as I can tell nothing is going to get better anytime soon. The USA is already way beyond fuck-ville and the next 4 years only look worse. How long can the rich and their belongings remain safe from the ravages of the everyone else? I personally do not care because I hate every rich person I have ever met with a scalding vengeance and totally would mind ransacking some of their houses, but I am curious how long until we reach this point?

Why not? It is not like they have been sharing very the wealth benefits of society for the past 30 years. In contrast, then have been setting the rules in their favor for quite awhile now.

That's the point when people get too starving and desperate to be controlled. Our general standard of living has went up so much, even taking into account the wealth distance between rich and poor nowadays, that such a point will take longer.

Oh because people are poor without hope of a decent future. Plus the rich and corporations have been stacking the rules in their favor by buying politicians for the past 30+ years. Kinda makes sense some people would want revenge.

The thing with The Rich And Powerful(tm) is that they tend to have contacts everywhere. Think of it this way - the government owns you, while the rich own the government.

If word ever got out that the rich were being systematically targeted for elimination, we might enter World War III... except that instead of being between countries it would happen between the primary socio-economical classes.

The only good that would come out of this is that this would effectively expose all the rampant corruption in the system. We wouldn't win, though. We'd be trampled like vermins.

Richer than the specific person?

This just seems like a lot of ramblings and not really a coherent question.

It's happened more than once in human history. I'm sure you could have heard some of the same arguments then that you hear now (or read on forums). For example, the ones already mentioned here in the above posts.

I'm sure the rich and establishment politicians at the time thought they were relatively safe. They probably could have listed off several decent sounding reasons as to why the poor wouldn't rise up or make a fuss.
