Italexit is just one of the next possible votes if the referendum fails. We are not poor by any standard, but people like to act as if Germany draws the poverty line.

Took me quite some time to actually understand the referendum.
But it seems as if the referendum is about actually draining the swamp; basically firing over 200 career politicians and giving more power to the people.

I think if no wins, the president is to blame. By claiming he would resign he made this referendum about himself, not about Italy.
I'm afraid that yes wins and then ad5 or something like that wins.

People seem to be getting their wires crossed here. This referendum is on leaving the Euro not Europe and some Parliamentary shake ups that may actually let the Government pass the odd law now and then rather than it's current state of total deadlock between houses.

If the Italian Government loses this referendum than Italy is still committed to Europe, at least until they have a referendum on European Membership anyway.

Five star movement main policy in case they get in power is to ask for a debt restructuring.

The Euro just took a nose dive.

As a proud Brexiteer, i wish Italy the best of luck.

When you leave that dreaded EU monster, let the UK and Italy talk trade deals.

The Left MUST appeal to the low paid white working class male if they want to regain ground. Rejecting them and castrating them in favour of a cheaper immigrant worker has backfired spectacularly.

Ye, I acteally did not care about that part.

It being a stepping stone means nothing if pro-EU people have a good reason to vote 'no' on this.

Dude you do realize that if the No wins that means the five start movement has restricted it's own power if it ever gets elected. Its odd that the populists aren't voting for yes.

    Not odd at all.

Its the same anti-establishment movement over and over again caused by the negative impact left wing politics has on the native private sector worker.

We are all sick of your bullshit.

Playing naievity is what caused you lot to collectively lose to Trump and Brexit.

Your unassuming response is not surprising in the slightest.

And if you do represent the naive left, well, being that dumb to what is happening in EU countries means we are all better off with you far, far away from political power completely.

There are two chambers. The upper one which is conformed by five dudes that are member for life (undemocratically) and 315 elected democratically. If the yes wins that means that those five dudes would have virtually no power, if the no means those dudes keep their power which is equal to the 315 senators. This dudes are the establishment/elite.

Well, 21.682 / 61.551 (about third) counted, split is 40.71% YES - 59.29 NO (with NO going up as i write), i guess NO wins as expected unless the rest of country for some reason loves Renzi.
