Nullifying election, deploy national guard / marshal law , and maybe violence.

    Source: Democratic Underground

He needs to go on TV and speak to the nation. He has to lay out the interference by Russia in our democratic process, even at the risk of compromising sources and methods. He needs to go on to say an election that happened under the influence of such interference is a nullity. He should set a new election date. Then he should announce he has positioned troops around the country and called up the National Guard and he will not hesitate to declare martial law in the event of violence.

He will rank with Washington and Lincoln in the history of this nation if he does. If he doesn't we will have to fix things ourselves and it will be very messy.
Not going to make the mistake of saying "this is what Democrats think" - far to much of a blanketed statement. So I am curious, the registered Democrats that do post here, how does this thread and its responses make you feel? (not THIS thread, the thread on DU)

A second question, how do you feel about this website/community (Democratic Underground) in general?

That's the best thing that could ever happen to Conservatives.

We'd rule for the next 200 years.

Sounds like more whining in hopes that a Democrat would win the "second" election. So far the only news that's been released is that Russia wanted Wikileaks to release the DNC emails to help swing people towards Trump. Unless the emails were fake (so far the more important ones are still confirmed real), I don't see why it really matters. I doubt it had enough of an effect to swing the election the other direction.

    Calls itself Democratic Underground
Wants to nullify elections because they lost.

    Theres no "ruling" in democracy.

It seems this has been lost upon you and apparently other conservatives as well.

Sounds like a Baba Vanga troll.

The site, at a quick scan, is the usual forum based mixture of reports, baiting and batshit. Indifference is all I have for it.

Trump nullified the elections and he WON.

It really frightens me that he's president-elect and is continuing to promote this distrust of the electoral process and devalue people's votes.

Its not a red/blue issue. Its an issue for all voters when outside influences are "affecting" the sanctity of their election.

If Trump truly believes such a huge %% of the popular vote was fraudulent, he should resign, as when you find systemic fraud like that, you look to the winner to see whose responsible.

Im sorry but no, voter fraud in the US is more pronounced in the democratic party than republicans and I dont see why people keep up the popular vote arguement. THE US HAS NEVER AND WILL NEVER BE A DEMOCRACY WE ARE A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC

Before the camps, I regarded the existence of nationality as something that shouldn’t be noticed - nationality did not really exist, only humanity. But in the camps one learns: if you belong to a successful nation you are protected and you survive. If you are part of universal humanity - too bad for you -Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

We are both. It's literally one of the first things you learn in government class. Did you not pay attention in high school?

Question to you OP: Why do you think that blog article made by some internet troll "democrat" is worth anymore than similar one made by Trump supporters?

    Both garbage.

"millions of illegal votes and and....millions of dead people voting!!" I'm sure he can find one case or maybe two. That sure validates any claim he makes!

They really need to fuck off already and let Trump have his hard earned presidency. At this point the Dems are no different than the NSDAP, who did the same shit during 1932/33.

I'm registered Green Party so I'm not really Democrat, I'm left of Democrat. To answer your question, I've never been on Democratic Underground and don't visit any political news sites besides mainstream news (NYT/WSJ/MSNBC/WashPo/Fox) and the websites of major political candidates (Sanders/Trump/Clinton/Stein). I deliberately visited Fox News during the election because I was amazed at how biased the NYT was during this election cycle. Fox News is ALSO biased and BLATANTLY so, but I got a balanced POV from the two websites.

On topic, I think that if tampering from a political candidate and/or an outside political entity really did influence the election (more than just via Wikileaks) then I can see how another election would be warranted, out of interest of our democratic processes. That being said, if we had a re-election I do not think the outcome would change.

Yeah I'm confused as to why he's starting a thread here about a thread on another website.

What is an internet troll "democrat"? Are you stating for a fact that this is not a democrat who posted this, or am I missing something?

I'm not sure what the confusion is. I asked opinions, from other democrats, how they feel about the way this democrat is posting. Is it a common feeling among other democrats? Or is this democrat the equivalent of an ALT-RIGHT type of person? Also, how do they feel about the Democratic Underground in general. From my understanding (which could be wrong, why I asked) this is a pretty popular website.

Honestly. I'm seeing a lot of juking, jiving, and thinly veiled diversion. All these posts so far and I've yet to really see anything responding to the question(s).
