I guess I'm just going to point out the elephant in the room and scratch my head over why people think it's acceptable to fight someone for merely having their shoe stepped on.

Yes, the pranksters are dumb, but that doesn't justify an ass beating.

    Jordan is life yo!

Honestly though, you can't expect any other outcome from these hoodlums... might as well be poking a tiger.

If some one scraped your car with his key, would you just laugh it off?

Anything with the word "prank" in it, is I'd say by default not courageous. One persons prankster is another persons douchebag.

Courage and bravery are things you do in the face of personal harm that make the world a better place. Stepping on people's shoes is just stupid.

I know Jordans are expansive, but not nearly as expansive as nice cars.

If the scrap was huge, I'd file a police report and an insurance claim. And yes, most people don't jump to physical violence in these types of situations, that's pretty much a part of being an adult.

Most of these YouTube pranksters are staged I believe, so don't read too much into it.

I'm pretty much of the same opinion here. I mean Johnny Knoxville from Jack Ass did have some balls for doing stuff like taking taser shots.... of course that's part of the reason why the show is titled Jack Ass.

It is kind of funny and weird that these videos get millions of views, people are mystified about the hood I guess?

Cmon man. For a lot of brothers in the hood, it's a significant investment to fork over 300 bucks on a shoe. Pretty fair comparison.

No is isn't, because plenty of them have nice cars.

Also, there's no reason to spend 300$ on Jordans unless you're collecting them, in which case you probably wouldn't be wearing them.

I wouldn't go as far as they did in the video though.
Isn't that why it's courageous? You wouldn't go stepping on some guy's Jordans in the hood would you?

Do you even watch ESPN. They use this terminology all the time. You need to get out of your bubble.

I think the thing is, if someone steps on your shoes.... realistically, they aren't going to get damaged. Unless they are really old and falling apart already. If the shoe gets dirty, you can just clean it off.

They get dirtied and if someone steps on the shoe it gets a bit worn out. Not to mention there is the disrespect of it as well. You could see why it could get someone punched in some parts of town.
