First thing you should look at is, is the class fun. WoW in Legion, 99.9% of classes aren't actually that fun to play, Survival however, I find very fun. It's not the best in PvE, but it's still viable... it's also pretty awesome in PvP. I think the spec will continue to receive buffs until it's a viable option. What I'm really hoping for is that the buff to Butchery and Serpent Sting make it worthwhile in M+, I'm hoping Butchery will be a strong option to make M+ viable.
