Just as thinking someone doesn't "deserve" knowledge/ability isn't reason enough to justify one's actions of keeping knowledge/ability from others except to themselves and they also have no right to complain about the consequences.

    That is life.

Don't have any other option (that you know of/capable of) to stay alive then try to rob those that have ways for you to survive?

    Might as well rob.

Have the option (because you know/are capable of) to share what you know and are capable of to try to ensure you are not robbed by those that don't know how/are not capable of getting what you have to survive?

    Might as well share.

    Yes indeed.

Fuck Michael Brown. Fuck his family. And to that I add fuck his BFF.

Fuck Brown - The thugging asshole who robbed a store, assaulted a clerk, then tried to kill a cop.

Fuck Brown's family - Including his thugging terrorist step-father who incited the riots with this "burn this bitch down" rhetoric.

And fuck his thugging asshole accomplice Dorian Johnson - Started the entire "hands up" LIE and was then hired by the /cough city of St Louis.

Also, it's pretty telling that the Ferguson Police Department, having shown blatant systemic discrimination towards people of color, as a majority-white institution, would recycle the Donald Trump talking point of asking for "academic records". When have Darren Wilson's "academic records", or Donald Trumps "academic records" been called into question? It's only when closet racists seek to validate their assumptions about people of color that the subject comes up.
He shouldn't have charged at a cop then. He did something stupid that resulted in his own death. His mother didn't want anything to do with him prior to this, they were estranged. Her boyfriend has only jumped on board for the platform to make money it has now given him. If any sort of money should change hands the boyfriend should be charged with inciting a riot when he was screaming burn this bitch down in the middle of the road. There have certainly been some questionable or bad shootings involving police, this isn't one of them.

    Just going to stop here...

you're argument is that someone has the right to another's labor or services cause they aren't as well off and that someone who doesn't want to interact at all for reasons that may or may not be malicious shouldn't complain about being confronted cause someone else is needy according to the confronting individual.

Sorry but this person trying to 'learn' or 'force an exchange' is the one in the wrong and just because they are in a less than ideal state is not a justification to force their state to change for the better at another's expense. "might as well share"? might as well have the 'learner' take a few steps back and remediate the lessons they already ignored.

Still trying to make excuses for a 16 year old 6'4 300 pound young man with a proclivity for violence, theft and drugs? I'm sure if you were a victim of one of these animals you would have the same thought as any other sane individual, they need to be put down like a rabid animal, protect the actual good, law abiding citizens from these terrible people. Not make excuses so there's more of these worthless pieces of human trash to prey on good people.

Where did you come up with this absurd conclusion? Did you pull it straight from your ass? Witness statements place him inside the patrol car attacking the officer, GSR and blood spatter place the first shots fired inside the patrol car, witness testified to him turning and lunging at the officer for another attack after he ran away the first time. All shots were proven to be into the front of the body. How exactly in your mind was this an unjustified shooting?

A mod should really close this thread. I think 2/3 of the posters in it would be happier at Stormfront.

    Nope.

My argument is that keeping what you know from others simply because you don't think they deserve to know might cause others who don't know what you know to try to steal from you in a last effort to remain alive.

    My argument is that's life.

All actions in life have consequences, and that's one of them.

Their job is to carry out arrests and maintain order. In any case, it's your job as a cop to exhaust all other reasonably safe avenues to subdue someone before going for lethal force.

Lethal force is only extremely rarely justified, and in most civilized countries, most confrontations between a police officer and suspect that tried to kill said officer end with the subject in cuffs and maybe roughed up, and then in jail for a couple years.

Even when dealing with armed suspects, cops don't often use lethal force here. Because their training and equipment allows them to take non lethal approaches to subduing a criminal first, which is always preferable to killing someone.
I'm not sure I understand your point. A huge kid attacks you while you are in your vehicle, tries to take your gun? What do you think the kid is planning, especially as he's attacking you? A reasonable person would assume that he's trying to steal the gun to shot you. And serious crime? He already committed one by robbing a convienience store. He's obviously not worried about that part.

Further, while you are in your vehicle, you have a serious disadvantage since you can't avoid size in a seat, you don't have any mobility. You have limited options.

My reaction would be based on exactly what I know.

If I know how to stop them without killing them, I would not kill them.

If I did not know how to stop them without killing them, I would kill them.

If I did not know how to stop them at all, I would not stop them.

That seems pretty simplistic in an overall sense. Especially because you have to factor in life threatening situations and how one reacts to them. Most of us will never have to face that.

You must have read a different one than the rest of the world did.

Michel Brown stole product from a store.
Police stopped him and some friends.
    His "friends" ran off.
Micheal fought the officer through the car window for the officers gun.
Micheal was shot during the struggle.
    The end.

I think the best part of this is, this trash lived with his grandma, and his parents don't even live together. Do they think he was going to "earn"(steal) enough to support three households?

    Oh here we go:

    Source: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...ot-over-merch/

Family members of Michael Brown, the 18-year-old who was killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo., recently fought in a parking lot over merchandise related to his death.

Michael Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, has asked that her son not be used for business sales or political actions. Last Saturday she found her son’s grandmother, Pearlie Gordon, and his cousin, Tony Petty, selling t-shirts in the parking lot of Red’s BBQ, a few blocks from where Mr. Brown was shot, a local Fox affiliate reported Wednesday.

Then, according to the police report, an unidentified person with Ms. McSpadden attacked Ms. Petty with a metal pipe or pole, striking her in the face. The attack resulted in a 911 call.
The witness said the assault suspect took the merchandise and about $1,400 in cash.
    lmao

So basically whoever was "escorting" the mother that day beat grandma up with a pipe and stole the money and merchandise.

The piece of shit was attacking a cop after robbing a convenience store, and there's a TON of evidence to prove this. They do not give a flying fuck about their son. They just want money. That is telling of what is going on with them.

This lawsuit was filed in 2015, and is a wrongful death suit. Only one aspect of wrongful death is the monetary reward based on future earnings, and that's only done in the judgment phase of a lawsuit. This lawsuit has not even proceeded to trial, and won't until May of 2017. Unless I'm missing some other, more recently filed lawsuit.

The records have no relevance at this moment, before the case has even gone to trial, for determining anything. It has no bearing whatsoever on whether Michael Brown was wrongfully killed. I'd be suspicious of a city cited by the DoJ for a systemic pattern of racial profiling for pushing for these records at this moment. I say all of this as a former defense attorney, so maybe I'm biased, but that's that.

For the record, I don't think Wilson will be found responsible for wrongful death.

I love when the internet comments on complex legal matters when they know jack and/or shit about them.
