What is the best thing that happened in 2016 for you?
For me, it was finally getting an apartment with my girl friend. Been together for 8 years, and we were finally able to take that next step.

Got a fat raise and big Christmas bonus.
Those are probably the biggest single, discrete events, but they don't at all do justice to how wonderfully the year went overall. This was my first full year being married, which was lovely. I enjoyed my work more than I have in any past year. I'm just about as content with life as I could possibly be and everything's proceeding according to plan.

Nothing crazy but I cut back on my drinking from 5 days a week to one day out of the week. Going to try and do twice a month after new years. My health has drastically improved and I lost the beer gut I was growing
Now I need to kick smoking and I'll be set! Will be trying that too.

Met a girl. Good, since I was mentally destroyed after a five year destructive relationship. Talked about moving in together and maybe getting her pregnant in a year or two after that.
Sounded perfect, since I'm 34 and getting too old to have children. Great new years eve plans.
She dumped me yesterday.
But at least I get to celebrate new years eve with my cats and some beer. Always something.

Band got 100% crowd funded by our fans to record and release our first full length album.
It was awesome and humbling how much support we got and the lengths some of our fans went. One of our incentives was for X amount of money you could come to the studio for a day and hang out with us; we had fans drive up from Kentucky (we are Wisconsin based) just to claim this. We've also had representatives from a few different tours reach out to us about hitting the road this upcoming year.
Excited to see what 2017 brings!
