    Explaining Trump - Incompetence as Insurance against Elite Betrayal?

    So I came across this shiny new study that suggests that at least some of Trump's core support demographics ("rural, and less educated white, survey participants") possibly chose him not despite, but because of his incompetence.

    What would somebody reading "studies" and "public opinion polls" really know about what Americans think?
