New build, help please :(

Hi there,

So I've just put together a new build:

6700k (stock at the moment)
Maximus viii ranger mobo
16gb 2133mhz ram
Strix 1070OC edition (at "stock")
Samsung 960pro 512gb m.2
PCE-AC88 wifi card (don't have wired option)
Windows 10 home

They're the components that could most effect my issue I think..


When I close WoW, the game doesn't actually close, it keeps running for a good 2 minutes, frozen on screen, before finally closing.

I've got no addons installed yet.

I've tried clearing cache, it made no difference.



Of note: when first installed, it ran fine, that was about a week ago, I've been finishing up installing other programs (office, steam etc)

Did this start on patch day?

The only thing I found was this - eu.battle.net-forums-en-wow/topic-14381658081 (insert / where - is used, unable to create links atm).

I would look at either the patch itself, the dx version you are using, your BIOS or GFX card drivers.

Hope you find something of use.
