You don't need to write threads, just make 10 posts. It tells you in the warning when you try to post the link. They do this for spam prevention.

Also, advertisments, promotions or plugging videos will end up being deleted by mods.

You can post images, videos, and link URLs after 10 posts but you can't add attachments ever. I have all these posts but the posting permissions still says no to attachments.
