    Honourable Kills

    Hey,

Got a friend of mine who has been playing since start and has just reached 500000 honourable kills on his shadow priest. I was wondering if anyone has seen any players that have such a huge amount on one character?

Think a lot have that amount or more kills devided over numerous characters but doing it all with one character is pretty insane.

I was once in a BG with a rogue who had 1m+.

Oh and this might be worth looking at.

Why give a damn about HKs? They mean virtually nothing, since you can get HKs from merely being in the vicinity of a kill or fight. You don't have to get the kills yourself or even touch an enemy player. HKs show nothing about player skill or ability.

HKs can be farmed endlessly by bots and many have multiboxed just for HKs. It's a meaningless number count that Blizz put in to get people to chase to extend subs, that's all.

    Wtf, Дегейм!!!

As for me, I got Bloodthirsty in Pandaria after starting the grind Cata. I don't have a single character with 250k+ but 160k here, 60k there, 50k, 40k, etc.

Why bother to do anything at all, eventually we all die. Although, I remain curious as to why you keep on posting here? Just about every thread you write is some sort of conspiracy that Blizzard is behind.

I mean, yeah, they can - But most people that you see with the bloodthirsty are gonna be at least decent players.

It IS a conspiracy (which simply means a secret or unspoken plan to achieve some goal), in this case to extend subs because it otherwise serves no use to players.

It doesn't even show that. All it shows is that a toon showed up around a PvP fight. It's like judging something from looking at when a player first logged into WoW, or how many hours are on a particular toon. You don't know what if anything they did during that time.

Unbelievable how something that simple can turn into hatred and devastation in the blink of an eye.

    @Moderator: Please close this thread.

Yeah, I roll with Yaga the Hydra leader and US kills champion quite a bit. Quite a bit of fun.

You can really say that about most things in this game. And many things in life.

There used to be a grand marshall on some EU vanilla server that had 300k hk's. I don't know what server it was, I just remember making a char to check it out. It was a warrior, he also had the wow contest winner's tabard.

People enjoy different stuff.. No reason to bash blizzard and calling other players stupid.
Some think RP is fun, other ppl likes pvp and the prestige - and titels. Some enjoy Mythic raiding.
... People who flames others for enjoying different content are just weak minded.

Eyyyy I have run w/ yall a bit. Well I did in WoD, Ashran and AV premades FTW!! But to OP I have ~218k HK's I got my blood thirsty back when they allowed you to combine all your alt's HK's for the achieve. Trust me when I say I have cut down A LOT of bg's . I mostly run random BG's just to have something to do. I'm no pro nor do I want to be I just want to have fun and killing alliance piggies is fun :P

Thread is not about bots or multiboxers. Any normal player with The Bloodthirsty achievement is a dedicated PvPer, and is generally better than the majority others at PvP due to a lot of experience in that aspect of the game.

    Now take your drivel elsewhere.

You can't play for that many hours and not improve, the bloodthirsty takes a RIDICULOUS amount of time - Even if you were purposely trolling the team the whole time you'd still improve a lot; I've done a hell of a lot of arenas but most of my growth has been just grinding HKs or dueling etc.

A buddy of mine had around 450k back in cataclysm before he stopped playing...pretty much all he did when he played was random battlegrounds so he'd probably be creeping over the 1 million mark by this point had he kept playing.

No, I deal with facts. Doesn't matter if the thread is about bots, afk'ing, carries or not because they can't be ignored as ways to farm the achieve. You can't assume anyone is "generally better than the majority others" because they got 100k or 250k or 1 mil. HKs. Even a count of KBs would be a bit more useful than HKs, because of the way Blizz awards HKs.

Doesn't mean that a lot of those who have the title aren't decent players. Many are, as are a lot of people who don't have it. But as a measure of player XP or skill it's mostly useless since it only proves that you showed up enough to collect 'X' number of HKs.

And now that HKs are acct. wide, it means even less about "experience" for any given toon. You can even farm them on F2Ps which says little about XP at higher levels or endgame. Basically it's useless.

    Get over it.

You are not dealing in facts. You are spewing an opinion. Nothing more.

The only fact here is that actual players with 250K+ HKs are experienced with PvP, and because of this are generally better than normal. It is not a hard concept to understand, no matter how hard you want to brush it aside.

The fact Certain Achievements give things like Mounts, Titles, Toys, Equipment. I'd say they aren't "fake" content.

The only ones doing mental gymnastics are the suckers who buy Blizzard's lies and hype. They've been proven to be serial liars for years all to increase profit margins, thousands of threads have been written about it, and 7.1.5 was just the most recent example. They don't have the rep of being greedy assholes for nothing. If you think they put in HKs and that chieve for anything other than extending subs from idiots dumb enough to grind it, then I can't help ya.

Gorgodeus - it is a fact that you can bot, AFK, and be carried to grind HKs. It's also a fact that there's no way to show that someone with the cheive did not do those things to get it. The only thing you can say for certain is toons on a given acct. were in the vicinity of enough PvP to add up "X" number of HKs. That doesn't equate to any assumption of "experience" or gained knowledge of PvP by default.

    Those are the facts.
