I don't understand the point of this defense. If you make fun of convulsions, why is it better when you do it often? Imitation of convulsions, to just be an insult, makes it worse. Complaining that people only gave a shit, when that matched a person who is actually disabled, should underscore what is wrong with doing what he did. This is great. This helps clarify. He's not necessarily making fun of the one reporter....he's doing some sort of mental/physical handicap mannerism on a regular basis! Every time he wants to show that someone is less than SMRT, he makes fun of ALL people with any sort of handicap. THANKS!

I think Trump supporters are showing that our forum rules are out dated. We should be permitted to flame people with insults, but only as long as we do it to many people. Not just those who resemble the insult, which would require a mod to make sure the insult was used more than that instance, for you to avoid a punishment.

I mean if you look at anything the government tries to manage --education, healthcare, roads, etc -- and you'll see that the costs are crazily disproportional.

Take education for example: Say all of schooling costs X. Government then intervenes and says we'll pay Y. That leaves the individual thinking I'll pay X-Y. But the school board thinks: let's raise the costs to about 2X. Then the individual still pays X, and the costs have been inflated to unholy levels. Look at higher education costs in the US and this is exactly what happened. This happens all the times with roads in NJ. This happened before the financial situations of the early 2000's with mortgages (not to mention terrible foresight by financers). And your going to tell me this didn't happen in healthcare? Well it does happen every single day. You should see a bill from a hospital before the insurer attempts to do their job; the prices are atrocious. And hospitals do this because they know they can get away with it.

And that doesn't even begin to highlight how bad insurance providers are by actually doing their job of litigating and mitigating costs for the insured. It's pathetic really.

You might start by looking at the history of insurance. Right around the time of the industrial revolution, etc etc. But not until the 70's was it mandated by the government. That muddied the waters then, and now it's pretty much a corporatism. You shouldn't force people to buy into something they do not want. You shouldn't force people to pay for others. And most importantly you shouldn't extort people when they don't want to buy something.

I've been a tax pro every year for the last six years and this year is the worst, absolutely worst, for this ACA nonsense. The best alternative for a trash policy is to throw it away like the trash it is. And a good alternative would be nothing.
