Fishing for Blood

Since Rupture does the same DPS now regardless of combo points, is it worth it now to fish for Blood of the assassinated procs? Outside of cooldowns, of course.
Meaning:
Mutilate --> Rupture(2-4) --> Mutilate --> Rupture(2-4)
until you have a BotA proc, then keep up EP with Envenom until BotA runs out, then rinse and repeat.

I tried it just now on Helya hc, and I feel like I'm doing more damage.
I might've been just lucky however, can somebody sim this to find out if it is a dps increase?

Edit: I should mention I play Exsang, for AP-rogues it might be worse, because you lose out on some Envenoms.
