It was pretty hard to go through wrath without getting one, and the Ulduar achievements take like an hour or 2 to complete.

I always envisioned shaman literally riding a bolt of lightning.

With paladins and warriors, what can you really do thematically? They ride horses. Its what they do. Anything else starts to ruin the class fantasy. Ok, I get dragons for warriors.

Warlocks are actually witches so the class fantasy mount is a broom. However I doubt many people who play warlock see it that way and would feel bad getting a broom for their mount. So they wind up with another horse.

The only thing that really makes sense for mages is to ride a blue dragon. Gotta be disappointing to get a disc instead.

BUT, BUT, I concede that both mounts are very fitting. Paladin is basically the knight of Warcraft, so a steed is very fitting. Since it is a flying steed, they could have went with a unicorn, or a Pegasus, which I would have really loved.

For mounts i voted warrior. Yay a proto drake ^^. But it was a close one between mage paladin and warrior for me.

For class hall I would say the least exciting must be DK, as its close to the same they got in WOTLK with only minor changes. Not because its bad, it just dosnt add anything new. The hunter class hall is also pretty boring ^^.

On a side not, Paladin, Monk, Druid, Hunter and Priest also got a bad deal.

Warrior, Warlock, DK and DH got a decent deal.

Cant really understand the paladin votes. Sure it isn't extraordinary, but it is still beautiful and high res. Personally, I think the mage one is just boring (stll not bad)

It's not that difficult to have not gotten one if they were just a casual player. I barely raided in Wrath (so no T7 or T8 achievement proto-drakes), didn't care about dungeon achievements (so no red one), and I never managed to get the green or blue ones to drop during Wrath. I did, however, go back and get a bunch of them during Cataclysm and MoP since I really like proto-drakes, but if that person doesn't they might not have bothered.
