    2K/4K resolution monitor - $200-300 budget.

Looking for a 2k or 4k resolution monitor to upgrade to. Budget is 200-300. Not really sure what to look for in regards to this.

    Any suggestions would be great.

I doubt you'll find any good resolution screen in a decent size to even utilize that, it would essentially be a waste of money

Are you saying that my budget is too low?

I was thinking something like https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...3Z3-_-01252017

Its a bit above my budget but I thought it wouldn't be that hard to find a slightly smaller one within my budget range? Or should I just hop on that one?

Also its not 4k which I wouldn't mind trying, but maybe thats okay.

You see that sale price? It really was selling for that normal rate I almost bought it myself a while ago but went with the Dell variant myself. If you want something of decent quality you might want to think about spending a little more. If you can't float the money for quality go with a 1080 you actually can afford.

So I take it you mean that its a solid buy at $350?

It seems like it might be a bit on the higher end of 1080p 2k so I can't complain really.

Website design, programming, watching movies/streams, and some gaming (WoW maybe?) Diablo.. i dunno, I mix it up a lot.

I usually use 3 monitors but my third one died recently, so it also just helps give me a lot more real estate, almost like I would have 4 monitors which is great.

Just fyi, the monitor is HUGE (being that its ultrawide) so keep that in mind.

Its a good price but my boyfriend has the 4k model and its beautiful.

Not a fan of Ultrawide, myself. I have this:

    https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-453-_-Product

On my daily driver and it is a stellar value for the price. The Dell, LG and BenQ monitors that use this same panel are almost twice as expensive. Is it 'the best' 1440p monitor? No, but in that price range, its hard to beat. And the stand is amazing, probably the best ive had on a non-Pro level monitor.

I bought a 28in version of this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YUU4B60/ about 10 days ago, had it for a week and love it. mind you, it was on sale back then, but 24in is on sale now and right within your budget so.. there's that? (found it via one of those best monitor lists, as best budget 4k monitor)
