Have you guys ever race changed?

Hey.

I never thought my death knight would be my main for years to come. So i made him a troll. Then i realized how fun DK was, Always regretted not making him Orc after that.

I grew fond of the Character i was playing, But i still want to race change him to orc. But i feel so emotionally attached to his current form, Which is probably the only thing stopping me from changing.

When i think about it, it just somehow feels wrong to change him after all this time. Almost like it would invalidate all old screenshots and memories. (Maby there's some more deep rooted problems here that i don't realise)

So i'm just wondering if anyone of you guys have race changed a character and how you managed it.

I've raced changed my main probably 15 times, at least. I usually do it a few times an expansion, at a minimum, as tier sets release and they look better on different races.

Changed my undead female warlock to goblin female warlock as soon as Cataclysm released. I miss my old animations, but the new ones are good too. Plus my movement rockets help with it xD

Yes, from an Undead Priest to Tauren way back in Cata when the new Race/Class combos were introduced.

Tauren Priests are remarkably rare.

A few times. Mostly if one of the racials ends up being able to be abused (Troll racial says hi) for ridiculous DPS gains.

I had a guy in my last guild who'd come to each raid as a new race... to each their own, I guess.

Switched my warrior from nelf to pandaren, just because of the animations. I really like those.

I faction switched ~15 times in 12 years.

But rcae switching while staying on the same realm/faction. Maybe 3 times max. I remember switching my old tauren shaman to a pandaren in MoP. And my hunter from draenei to human in WoD (PVP purpose).

I made my cow druid a troll the second I could.

I also made my shaman a panda in Mists since I intended to main the shaman that expansion and the racials were enormously better, but then I changed it back when they adjusted racials in Warlords because I am not a big fan of pandaren aesthetically.

Fuck ton of times. My Hunter went from Night Elf to Worgen to Human to Night Elf to Human to Worgen to Dwarf and then Faction change Goblin to Orc to Blood Elf to Troll.

I always play human in whatever game I play, but when they launched the new running (etc.) animations, I had to race-change. They completely ruined the way the female human runs. It wasn't perfect before, but at least it didn't look physically weird... like it does now.

I usually cycle between Dwarf and Human, so yeah, I have quite a few times.

Changed my lock from undead to orc because shoulders.

Changed my Druid to a troll as soon as it was possible because Tauren are big and ugly. Now he's just ugly.

Nope. Never race changed my characters.

I don't role play, but my characters feel like characters to me other than just game pieces on a game board.

Many times. My paladin went from human to BE to draenei to human since end of MoP. (few times even before that)
Never felt any emotional attachments to how he looked or felt.

Don't think I've ever race changed outside of changing factions, but I have faction changed a LOT of times. >.>
