I myself have been called nazi, alt-right, scum of the earth fascist and all the other buzzwords many people spout out on a regular basis on this forum. Yet I vote for the moderat party in Sweden (and was even a member for a short time) which would be more in line with Bernie Sanders then with anything else in the Political landscape of the USA (socialised healthcare and all that stuff), people from the right do care about people. We don't care if a child who was raped was black white jew hindu or whatever colour doesnt matter its the act. I have never heard anyone within politics except for people of the likes of Nordiska motstånds rörelsen ( nordic resistance movement =real nazi's) call for extermanation of anyone. And this is what imo has lead to the rise of the far right is that when you call people who are from the right side of the spectrum nazi's bigots and fascists you are NORMALIZING actual racism and fascism from these proper extreme parties because people are thinking that party and the one that I voted for last time are the same thing. It is people like on the left who have normalised racism.

Ofcourse there are many reasons for the rise and fall of diffrent political ideologies, but i think that this has played atleast a large part in there resuberance atleast in Sweden.

This is written after reading through the dude who raped a kid and got 2 months in Sweden, therefore the thing about rape in the above text.

Totally agree with you, and I think that atleast in Sweden the standard thing to say to anyone you dont agree with is that they are racist and people see this as said person just losing the argument since that is in essence what they do with that.
