How would disabling loot trading prevent guilds from master looting gear to a subset of the players in the raid? You know what a split run is, right?

Can you masterloot world bosses? I thought they always auto-perso-loot stuff into your pockets (even if it's only gold)?

This is what I don't get, there's a 7/10M raiding guild on my realm, who ran split runs on withered jim for hours, but I was so sure you couldn't trade the trinket. So why was a very good guild running split runs on it with alts etc and offering people huge sums of gold for arcano crystals? Some sort of loophole?

Because the trinket even at basic 865 ilvl is broken as shit.
And its bis for a lot of classes/specs.

And you can trade loot so if you can run split runs you should do it.

Gold + artifact power. feels pretty bad to miss your bis trinket even at 860 and only have a shot at it every 2 months. Granted it'll probably be surpassed in ToS, but still feelsbadman

Thanks captain obvious, I knew that it was bis for a lot, that's nothing to do with what I said, what I'm questioning is the fact that no, you can't trade world boss loot.

We set up a grp of 5 people like 2hrs ago, went to withered jim, i got my 2nd arcano (860 same as mine) from a normal win (Not a bonus roll) I also have a 910 trinket, a 880 and 890, so 100% had better, went to the other hunter. And nope. Couldn't trade it, so the warrior tried trading his 860 helm, (he had 915) to the dk, again nope. Couldn't trade a thing.

So not sure how people seem to be trading it.

Because they are not trading it. Anyone claiming world bosses loot is tradeable is full of shit.

Shadow as well if you talk about basic 860. Still BiS if its get a bit higher and/or w/ socket for many other classes.

Either way its pretty stupid, should have been nerfed long time ago by 50%.

It's intended to be as strong as it is as it's rare. Blizz has stated in the past they like the idea of these rare things since it feels really good to be the one that has them.

I know. I know. I don't even get how this is creating a fair and enjoyable environment for those who aren't lucky.
