Just because you know it's bull shit doesn't make a difference. The question is have her lies been effective for Trump? And they have incredibly so. I'd argue that people are more misinformed now than they have been at any point since the introduction of mass media. No body knows what news is real or fake any more.
She has done an amazing job and I'd say was instrumental in the chaos occurring now.
His supporters still don't think she's lying. They are willfully ignorant and think she's being "bullied" when they tell her she's wrong or lying. She could get up there and say "Trump cured cancer. He's such a good businessman, that he destroyed it because Healthcare provides jobs!" and his supporters wouldn't be moved to even think to doubt the words of our orange emperor.
So that's to say that using their supporters to say that she's good at lying, is just wrong. They don't care what she says as long as she's on his team.
r/the_donald is on a meltdown and the mental gymanstics going there are amazing!!

The framing that wikileaks gave it is hillarious.
Trump's National Security Advisor Michael Flynn resigns after destabilization campaign by US spies, Democrats, press https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C4nxw0SWEAAIIBF.jpg …

If you push a button that finds you a 'random group' and it gives you a random group of people with random skill and random knowledge then you have no right to complain that a 'random group' button did what it was designed to do. The fault lies in your inability to make friends to play with instead of relying on a button designed to be random. It is a 'random group' button, not a 'best of the best' button.
Yeah... as someone who has supported Wikileaks, its activities, and who thinks Assange has (in the past, I must hasten to point out) advocated some good analysis of globalism, power structures, information, and government, garbage like this is damned embarrassing - you don't even need to look hard in order to see the Russian hand working the mouth. Preventing something like this (a government sock-puppeting his organization) is exactly the sort of thing Assange's cypherpunk, crypto-anarchist skillset should have designed Wikileaks to counter from the get go - either he's incompetent, let his ego (and id) run things way too much, or discovered the brutal efficacy of rubber-hose cryptanalysis (in any case, he ought to have known better), or some mixture of all the above and then some.

"In today’s America, conservatives who actually want to conserve are as rare as liberals who actually want to liberate. The once-significant language of an earlier era has had the meaning sucked right out of it, the better to serve as camouflage for a kleptocratic feeding frenzy in which both establishment parties participate with equal abandon" (Taking a break from the criminal, incompetent liars at the NSA, to bring you the above political observation, from The Archdruid Report.)
Trump's rhetoric is about mindless trade protectionism. If you want to keep your workforce employed in the 21st century you need to educate and up-skill them, not preserve doomed jobs.

Fuck me, they aren't even trying to hide it anymore.
For comparison this is the story RT run.
‘Flynn’s resignation victory for mainstream media & Democrats’ – ex-Pentagon official to RT
American "conservatives", specifically the white, quasi-religious ones (particularly the men) very much are the "special snowflakes" they like to condescendingly label the left (conservative projection - it was a thing even before Trump came along); they exist in a world that revolves around them, and in which, thanks to their inherited success, they face no real threats, and have never had to deal with change - the core anger and fear that drive Trump's supporters are emergent from the reality that cultural, economic, and demographic change has finally started to reach their communities after a half-century of luxurious isolation; and now they get offended at the idea that people speak other languages, and even more offended when rather than enabling their immature outrage, you are instead simultaneously amused and embarrassed for them. <shakes head>
Editing to add: I do agree with you overall - the parable of the gate is a thing that we all need to keep in mind, even (or especially) as the rate of change driven by technology, wealth, and sheer number of human minds climbs towards the vertical.

And that's what you'll get, Skroe.
I 100% guarantee that that if the GOP establishment is seen by those who voted for Trump as deserting him, you're looking at a Dem controlled Congress for at least 8 years, and probably 2 Dem presidents going 2 terms each back to back ( 16 years). Because the Trumpkins will sit at home OR primary GOPers who don't back Trump ( thus producing hard right candidates that will loose to Dems).
After that, I'm at a loss as to how the GOP will rebuild a base. They've relied on the pissed off old religious white people vote since the Southern Strategy began. Whatever emerges on the other side of this will look nothing like the GOP of the 80s/90s.
" The guilt of an unnecessary war is terrible." --- President John Adams
" America goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy." --- President John Quincy Adams
" Our Federal Union! It must be preserved!" --- President Andrew Jackson
So much for the champions of "transparency." It's a shame they threw whatever integrity they supposedly had in the shitter over a few crony capitalist despots.
And then there's this fucking guy:
Why even bother with the Onion when twitter and people like this pair of clownshoes exist?
- Christopher HitchensPopulists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.
Might not be entirely related, but you've just gotta love Paul Manafort's comments on the alleged contact with russian intelligence:
"It's not like these people are walking around bearing name-tags that say 'Russian intelligence'."
