Why are people bashing this guy? Had he been elected instead of that other fat korean, North Korea would probably be in a pretty good state and actually on speaking terms with the rest of the world.
He had nothing to do with the rest of his family, he thought they were vile.

To think of it, North Korean assassination strategy is brilliant. Think about it: at home, they can tell the people that North Korean escapees are being killed by foreign forces that hate North Koreans and want them all eliminated - while at the same time sending a powerful message to those who see the truth and consider trying to escape the country: "Don't do it, we will find everyone and kill everyone". Plus, making sure that most escapees keep their mouths shut, knowing what can happen otherwise.
That's a next level of totalitarianism: not only controlling everything on your own territory, but also issuing a global terror to protect your secrets.
Even more so, the girl wearing a "LOL" skirt is definitely not random, it might be a demonstration of how low North Korean government thinks of the escapees: "We don't even need to be secretive about killing you, we can do it openly and laugh at the same time - you are nothing, we can do whatever we want without any repercussions".
Hope someone assassinates the Kim one day in a similar fashion!
