So apparently he has been under investigation for stealing information related to the Democratic Party. For some reason, the media seems to have a blackout on this story. A consensus is forming that there is a larger scandal here that is being suppressed. Awan was actually arrested due to fraud charges that involved some real estate deals, but they have seized two smashed hard drives after searching his house.

Some of the articles out there imply that the Democrats assisted members of the Awan family in fleeing the country earlier this year.

Her aid getting arrested on bank fraud charges, and his attempts to flee the country, just aren't terribly newsworthy compared to most of what else is going on right now.

A consensus is forming that there is a larger scandal here that is being suppressed.

Apparently this person committed a crime months ago and was still getting paid. The MSM did seem to report that back then.

The media also doesn't seem to have reported what kind of "information" was stolen from the Democratic Party. They seem to be fixated on the fraud case and how the person was unduly persecuted by Republicans because of they were a 'Muslim'.
