He resigned, apparently.
I think the full line was, "if it was rape, it was a good rape," which takes on a meaning given the subject matter that section. I don't recall it advocating for sex with someone as young as 13 at all though. ymmv.
Anyway, Milo should have been shot down (not SHOT, just to be clear, shot DOWN) for any number of comments before this. Break the camels back, all that.
Milo Yiannopoulos resigns from Breitbart: http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/yia...art/ar-AAnbqKM
*pours one out for the internet troll*
Luckily for Milo, trolls never die, they just shapeshift into something new.
eh, idk. sounds like excusing it to me. just cause you felt you wanted it then, and still felt you wanted it, doesn't make it right.
like, i definitely don't agree with milo on a lot of things. but his ideas on the race baiting and tolerance of islam in the left is spot on. tolerating that stuff, it's antithetical to everything any good hearted liberal should think. we should be fighting the spread of it, not helping it spread.
I am a left libertarian. On more occasions then I can count, I have reached over party lines to listen and discuss a great deal of topics to understand where a person is advocating from, on their beliefs and political ideals. In-fact, I have voted for a few republicans and even helped Tom Hartwell as a member of one of his staff members.http://www.dailyherald.com/article/2...ted/301319758/
But this... I cannot begin to fathom. You people are blindly defending this...filth purely based on his political identity. I truly hate to say this- as I personally like to believe there is good in everyone, even if buried deep; You people are truly lost. You have allowed yourselves to be blinded by your hate, and in doing so you have lost your morals as decent human beings.
May what ever god you believe in have mercy on your fetid souls.
After reading his comment and how he was a victim of sexual assault at 13, it sounds more like he is saying he learn something from it than straight up advocating it. Can't wait to see people claims I'm defend pedophilia after this. What happened to him was wrong and I would be completely fine with child abusers being castrated and/or killed but seems like people here got trolled hard by Milo a lot and this is their revenge. Dude was a victim of this shit. Not sure why he would be advocating it.
They can't, though. That's the logical fallacy younger people make, they think they're grown up and can have adult relationships with people decades older than they are. Then you get older and realize how creepy as fuck it is to date someone significantly younger than you are. You are in a different place at your life when a decade or more passes you by, your life experiences and your headspace are different.
I'm sure people will defend dating older/younger until their faces turn blue, won't change my opinion. I used to think dating older men was cool too, back when I was a teenager.
Sorry, as a gay person I've never felt that he is a discredit to the gay community. Up until now, nothing he really said was wrong and even still he didn't say "let's go out and break the law and have sex with minors" but rather he felt that it shouldn't be wrong. Big difference. I don't agree with what he said, but hell I don't agree with a variety of things people believe, but you have a right to say it if you can provide some backing.

Oh what another edgy person who is way off on their little safe space comment. So edgy.... oh wait they're not looking for safe spaces like the left does daily.
idk either, but I'm somewhat familiar with that work as more than one ex was obsessed with it. I'd suggest reading the entire part before passing judgment. And notice that I wasn't judging Milo here for the same reason; I haven't seen the offending video in its entirety.
Well if a single line pulled from a play that runs over an hour is enough for you to make a full judgement call then there's probably not much point trying to add context, I daresay it would be wasted.
For anyone else interested, a quick check of wikipedia shows that there was indeed outrage over that particular section (which describes the "healing" sexual experience following earlier abuses) and later performances changed the age from 13 to 16 and removed the "if it was rape, it was good rape" line. I'm not sure if the author was allowed to speak at any conservative conferences or employed by far-right propaganda "news" sites subsequently so I'm not sure if their treatment does line up with Milo's.
