    I mostly ignore panhandlers to be honest. Very rarely do I carry cash of any kind and just as unlikely I would be carrying food around.

    Volunteering my time locally is more helpful than a giving someone spare change on the street anyway. I am active in my community.

    Yes, I do. The other day I had one sitting and sleeping in front of Walmart, he piseed himself, he was in ragged clothing and there were scabs all over his face. His boots were unlaced. Told that fucker he needed to leave. And then I get one of those panhandlers who also just hang there who knows what selling drugs maybe, they're in groups. Had one get so mad at the manager cause he followed him. And wouldn't use the bathroom( He was obviously going to steal shit) he yell at the manager saying he was going to shit in front and the back of the store and smear it all over and it was so loud that you could almost hear it from any place of the store. These dudes are fucking messed up. They're too dumb to help themselves out, this is why we shouldn't have socialism here like in Sweden. It won't help. Just makes them even more lazier.

    No, you get scared when you see a poor person and fumble to unlock your car as fast as you can.

    Homelessness isn't typically an issue of laziness. Sometimes its poor medical issues/job loss, but the long term homeless tend to have mental health issues or addiction issues, or both.

    I feel sorry for them mainly because, in my area at least, many people carry no cash. Hard to beg when people have no physical cash to give.

    Outside of that, I ignore them.

    panhandlers = beggars?

    There aren't any around here but whenever I come upon one somewhere else I simply ignore them.

    i hate panhandlers and beggars, especially the ones at intersections or near the liquor store. if they wanted to work they could get off the heroin and get proper jobs or at least volunteer somewhere.

    I hardly carry cash so I got nothing to give them either way. The ones in Austin can be pretty damn annoying when you're walking about. Had a guy ask me for change, told him sorry I have none and he pointed to an ATM across the street and said I could go get some there. Like lol this guy. I do feel sorry for most of them though.

    I ignore panhandlers, just like I ignore most people. What they do is none of my concern.

    Don't be surprised. My Prof. did a study four years ago. He dressed up as a beggar and panhandled for two months, five days a week, 8 hours/ day (like it was a 9-5 job). The final verdict: he made about 14$/ hr.

    He also met and got to learn about the panhandlers. Many of them had apartments, cable, some even had a car. So the person begging at the median may not be as "poor" as you think.

    No two homeless people are alike, the choice to give is up to you.
    i stay far away from them in case they are draenei in disguise.
