Wentz is legit. I can see him as a less-hyped Luck. Big tough body, smart pocket passer.
This game isn't a stat grab, but it is pretty entertaining. Plus, can't go wrong with Romo.
That was one heck of a play by Wentz, under duress found his man.

And then the long ball on top of it. He's balling out.

Philly is doing this against a defense without Kuechly for the last quarter plus, but this is still damn impressive in an away game.

I read some Panther fans earlier calling their TE "Brickson". I think I get what they mean now...

That was the dumbest thing I've seen all season. Stupid penalty by Philly.

Broadcast was right, if they give Cam the TD here (I think they should) then he really was Superman. Stretched out and flying.
Just turned on, seeing we are behind. Bleh. How bad was Keuchley's concussion? It's probably going to be the end of his career if it's bad :/
I turned on the game finally, Cam throws 3 awful throws and gets picked.
sounds about right
Yeah it was that 2 interception really tilted the entire team, also bad ref calls.
And yet here they are driving to win the game. They've done it before.

But the Eagles hold on in the end. Impressive win.
Agree. I'll go out on a limb and say this game wasn't even close. You heard it from Romo at the end: "the flags kept Carolina in it."
I'm not saying the Panthers aren't a solid team--one game isn't fair to judge. I think they're better than how they played tonight. But--tonight they played straight-up awful offensive football and an average game defensively.
It was close when Kuechly was still in there. After he went out the train came off the rails somewhat. But, we don't know how long this will be an issue. Last year he missed significant time with his concussion. If they lose him again for a long while, that might change their season.
Eagles though, best they've looked since Reid left. I'd definitely put them in dark horse Superbowl contention now.
They hadn't beaten any good competition so far, except maybe Washington. But this game definitely puts them in the spotlight. Question is, how does this team handle the attention and the pressure when it starts being put on them.
Newton just sucks when he has no running game at all to keep defenses honest. His whole career has shown if you know he is going to throw, you won. That applies to any QB that is inconsistent with accuracy issues too.
Also, the last 4 Eagles games Pete Morelli's crew has worked the Eagles have had 40 penalties for 396 yards, their opponents 8 penalties for 72 yards. That doesn't look bad at all.

That was some of the most biased reffing I've seen from a game. Was a good game though. Glad the panthers lost!
NaVorro Bowman requested and was granted his release.
It goes a little beyond that. Pete Morelli seems to have some kind of hate-boner for the Eagles https://twitter.com/BrandonGowton/st...97734663585793
Carr starting this week, amazed the game is even on considering the smoke in the air.

I had the Eagles as NFC East champs for months.
But I didn't anticipate them being the best team in the NFC. Have they played scrubs so far this year or what?
Well 4 of their 5 wins are against the Panthers, Cardinals, Chargers and Giants. So we will see later in the year how good they actually are.
