    Heroic Botanist & Tichonrious

Hello everyone,my guild is slowly progressing in Nighthold Heroic but we're stuck on two bosses.
    First boss is Tichondrious.
First of all problems are our DPS,which is sideproblem.
Biggest problem is when or where and how to we really place brands?
Where we should position ourselves bettter?
We have tried without poping brands, but didn't have any luck.
Second boss we tried more is Botanist.
At the begining of 3rd phase from nowhere just comes like 10 adds and wipe us,almost everytime.
Do adds change target after being stunned?

Here are our logs only from last night.
Put aside Nänniveleho,Orisaja,Совва,Zolban as they're not with us.
Are there any suggestions you can give to us ? Thanks,Dystopia.

Heroic. if you want to continue to break brands (because one of the mythic strats ask you not to)

then just make sure you have a set marker in which you want to break first..have that marker run straight into melee so you dont need range trying to run to each mark all fight long.

Tell your raid do not pop the 2nd one until all players are above 65-70% ? hp

this is a healer dream fight as you get your mana back after the bat phases. so tell your healers to spam as much as they can, just face roll over their keyboard.

really strong resto druid fight so make sure your druid goes germination and double rejuv, rewrite them for mastery, and keep burning more hots on all the targets with plague.

    ------

for bot. if you are getting a ton of adds in phase 3, then your raid (or puggers) are being touched by the flowers and spawning more, thats about it.

Call of Night has to be soak by another CoN or a player without it till it expires. or its a wipe

Your healers are most likely dispelling the people with the debuff too quick not leaving any time for people near the debuffed one to get away. If not that then it could be your melee charging into the adds too quick before getting fixated and therefore spawning more.
The adds don't change target after being stunned, however if you root them they will so avoid doing that at all costs.

Unfortunately Botanist is all about phase 3.

There is a lot going on and you just need to keep it together because the bosses health will drop really quick with all the cleaving available.

After the flame spheres spawn, do not dispel the person with the infected debuff until after the 2nd is destroyed. We have the bosses on top of one sphere so the melee can quickly switch and then a few range turn and nuke the 2nd one. Only after that should you dispel so that all the ranged can focus on the adds. (Adds do not change target even after being stunned).

Setup stun rotations (we use two hunters alternating that arrow that stops things from moving out of its range and a Spriest mindbomb - As a monk I have my leg sweep as backup).

What will probably wipe you most is actually the Arcane Eclipse (The find a buddy and stick with him debuff), that is the one that really needs just practice on.

You also have to watch your positioning. Ranged being in bad spots can affect where the adds spawn, where Controlled Chaos spawns etc. We have three sections (Under where each flame sphere spawns). Melee are always near one (depending on where the healing pools drop) and range should be spread across the other two. Rotate around as required.

    For Tich:

Make sure the melee have their own section to be able to stand with carrion plague that will not get them hit by range. Have range stand in a line facing the boss to avoid a person getting multiple hits. Its better to break the brands at range but if you have to run it into melee (That would only be if almost all the range have plague). It does require some coordination - We like to break one before carrion plague and then again after.

Hero after coming out of first bat phase.

We focused Botanist first and it took us about 30 attempts (over 3 nights /2 weeks). Tich turned out to be much easier going down in like 5-6 attempts but I still think Botanist might be the better situation.

On Tichondrius, your positioning could be better.

I had a look at your tries, and you are spreading too many Carrion Plagues and get hit by Seeker Swram too often. A good example is here
    https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...ability=206474

at 0:27, only one player gets hit. Good!

At 0:52, the two hunters fail to position propery. Look at the replay:
    https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...30&view=replay

They are standing somewhat ok-ish at 0:49, but then move to make a perfect line with the boss, resulting in both of them getting two hits instead of one.

You are not handling the bats correctly. Thats your biggest problem. take this try:
    https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...ability=206466

You have 12 people. After 2 bat phases, you must have 24 debuffs. Everyone must have the debuff every time. Its an enormous amount of mana for the healers and a tremendous DPS boost for DPS players. 10 debuffs in total is simply too few.
Its probably because you are too spread out in that phase. camp in one spot in the center, and all bats come to you. Then simply AE them down, and everyone steps into the purple stuff to get the debuff.

You managed to ill 26 bats, which is almost enough for the fight. We killed 46 with one one person more. but still, with 26 bats killed you can get 24 debuffs, so probably people are not paying enough attention to the puddle.

The boss has a hard enrage at about 8 minutes. without all DPs having the buff, you will not meet the DPS requirements of this fight.

We have found that always moving the brand into the melee camp simplifies the encounter.

Melee with plage should stand in such a way that the boss is in front of them and a wall behind them. This means ranges can stand in the room and need not to worry about getting hit by melee with the plague.

As for Botanist, have your healers delay dispelling 2-3 seconds to give people time to move away from the roots. When they dispell, the flowers should be slowed/rooted/stunned immediately and focused down. the biggest problem imho is boss tunneling. DPS want to kill the boss and forget to play the mechanics properly. You need to make it abundantly clear that doing the mechanics right is their first and foremost concern. DPS requirements on Botanist are quite low, but the execution must be right.

Ye, don't do that if you want to kill the boss.

First of all, even you are in heroic, i suggest you to user VANTUS RUNE for one boss progress every week. Vantus rune are a great boost in DPS and SURV. for all raid.

For Tichondrius, our guild find more easy to BOP tank (need 4 paladin or 2 pala Tank) in first phase during add to focus dps and don't move from the boss, but you can't.
So i suggest you to don't avoid to explode branded during phase 1 and phase 2, and let them run to Melee ( but be smart the they sometimes are on add not on boss). simply avoid they explode during Echo or Swarm or in that case use a Raid cooldown.
We usally, in p3 boss are at least at 17% after first add phase(or less) , and we nuke boss when other tank take all the second adds.
