facebook provides you with a service for your personal data which is how they make money, you already pay monthly for your ISP now they are going to be triple dipping.

False sense of security mostly, TOR isn't as secured as myths make it out to be.

I don't know what you are face palming for? You're the one hyperventilating over something that has happened for a long time. You're pretending like this is something new. The telephone company does also. You pay them for a service. They've been doing this for a very very long time. See how your analogy is falling apart? Furthermore the post office sells your data. They tell whoever wants to know your address and your name. They could go as far as letting anyone know your average deliveries and what they are. It's like some of you on this forum are still in mr rogers neighborhood with your responses.

PS if you actually read the verizon link you will see two programs that broker data before the ruling.

Your comparison with the post office is strikingly bad.

The post office cannot sell information about who you are mailing to or what you are mailing to third parties. Or what your deliveries are.

Ah yes, the old "nothing ever changes and today is how things will always be" delusion of what is and isn't "something to hide."

Nah, I just think you're willing to be ok with corporations selling your data and are trying to justify it. It's not ok.

Both the republicans and the democrats are awful options to vote for. No point even voting in USA as it's always going to be democrats or republicans winning.

People should vote otherwise, the ones that say they will basically never do. Look how Jill Stein did despite a lot of outspoken support by Sanders fans.

Nope. The reason why we have trump is because a lot of americans are idiots. Not that hillary would've been any better if she had won. I hate both, I hate republicans and democrats. If you want people like me to go vote, then stop voting for the democrats or republicans in such great amounts that it's useless voting for anything else.

"This is fine for the moment" is a foolish basis for implementing law. You always have to look forward at the potential problems. I'm not flipping out because the bill doesn't actually change anything so much as it prevents a proposed change from being implemented. I do, however, think the change was a beneficial one and blocking it is fairly asinine.

We're eroding privacy through technology, hence the importance of establishing boundaries now rather than ignoring the future need for them.

Actually IT IS implying only Republicans doing this. Because before this, you had the CHOICE as to whether or not you could share your private information, EVEN ON FACEBOOK AND GOOGLE.

These ISPs are looking to make a profit off of free information they collect AFTER CHARGING YOU ACCESS TO THE INTERNET.

It's complete bullshit and if you had any sense in that small brain of yours, you'd realize this affects everyone equally, INCLUDING the Republicans that passed it http://http://www.pcworld.com/articl...vacy-vote.html Even if the FCC blocks them, it's a ridiculous notion to begin with.
There are no worse scum in this world than fascists, rebels and political hypocrites.
Donald Trump is only like Hitler because of the fact he's losing this war on all fronts.
Apparently condemning a fascist ideology is the same as being fascist. And who the fuck are you to say I can't be fascist against fascist ideologies?
If merit was the only dividing factor in the human race, then everyone on Earth would be pretty damn equal.

    News flash.
100% of America is not you.
The "problem" with democracy is that you need > 50% to win and govern, and that to get that 50% you need to gather a bunch of similar but differing viewpoints to your side.
You are never going to get what you want out of politics until you realize that it is about comparative choices.

Hillary would have been better than Trump if she had won. Until you accept that, you learn nothing about politics.
History lesson: Lots of idiot lefties swore that there would have been no difference between George W Bush and Al Gore.

More in the link, but this one is great:

"As it turns out, people who spend their free time being assholes on the internet have a vested interest in internet-related privacy"

The one good thing about Trump's presidency so far is that there's no shortage of schadenfreude.

Well your never going to fucking get that, so stop living in a fantasy world.

Like sure you can hope for something like I don't know, the Canadian NDP, but in Western Society in general you are not gonna go any further than Social Democratic parties and have any real chance of gaining any real power.

O and Jill Stien was an idiot with no Government experience who literally personally MET with Putin you think someone like THAT is who the Left should rally behind?

It is clear that the Republicans as a party have sold their souls to corporate America. The constitution is meaningless to them when their pockets have been lined so thoroughly.

Time for a new conservative party that is actually, you know, conservative. I'm looking at you, Evan McMullin.

I'm going to laugh my ass off when this ends up biting these people in the ass. All the ones who support this, I bet bottom dollar that they will be the first one to have their info sold.

I'm sure Anon is already on it lol
On the actual HBO channells on cable, they have to run ads for their shows to make the time slots match up. That movie was 1:47 and the next time slot is at the hour mark. No logical way around it but to self advertise. On their ipone app, I've never watched a commercial before watching a show. But I mainly only watch their series and not the movies
