Perfomance issues or working as intended? help me out guys :D

    Greetings guys.

I wanna know if you guys can help me to check if my pc is performing as intented or it is underperforming, occurs in WoW and also in other games.

    My specs are the following:

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z270-A (New Component)
CPU: Intel I-5 7600k (New component)
GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 1070 Armor 8 GB VRAM DDR5 (New component)
    RAM: x1 Corsair Memory 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4 SODIMM 2133MHz (New component)
SSD: Kingston Digital 120GB SSDNow V300 SATA 3 2.5 (Have 3 years with me)
HDD: Seagate Desktop 2TB 3.5-Inch HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB (Have 3 years with me)
PSU: Thermaltake TR-800P TR2 BRONZE 800W ATX 12V V2.3 / EPS 12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Older piece I have (like 8-9 years with me).
Cooling System: Corsair H100 Watercooler (2 years with me)

    Temps:
CPU: Never seen it get pass to 40 C.
    GPU: 50-65 C. on load.
Resolution in which I play: 1920x1080

Sometimes my fps drops to 40 when in new areas like legionfall, when flying above suramar (gryphon) even when fighting mobs in Suramar, isn't my system supposed to run wow in the highest settings without issues?

WoW is much more CPU demanding than GPU in most cases. Out in open world areas with heavy population (such as new content zones on launch day) you will always notice a performance loss. When on flight paths etc your draw distance will affect your fps. Also areas with heavy ground clutter will stress a GPU (my rig is running a 780 and is now beginning to show it's age in areas like valsharah).

I'm fairly sure your pc is working as intended. My rig cost me £1500 three years ago and used to run WoW on ultra settings and never drop below 60fps but as the game gets bigger, more refined etc I now see FPS drops down to 30 in certain areas, whilst inside raids never experiencing anything below 100fps.
