    Cry Havoc - this is a joke right?

    It does not deal any dmg whatsoever to your havoced target (only to those around it), so it amounts to zero dps increase in ST situations, zero dps increase in spread cleave situations and ultimately zero dps increase in aoe because you don't cast Chaos Bolt in most aoe situations. Oh and in the rare case you may benefit from it, it deals 60k damage. Amost makes Sinister Seeds look good, almost.

    Sounds like affs single trait before the gold. Sweet Seed blows up from 30k dmg instead of 70k... o wait its still basically 1 dot tick either way good game.

    Yep, Cry Havoc is absolute garbage. Not only is this mechanically awful, but even in the extremely specific situations where it functions (2-3 stacked targets), the damage increase it gives is pathetic, borderline unnoticeable. I know the minor 1/1 traits aren't supposed to game-changing... but seriously this needs to be looked at. What annoys me though, is that the trait was given plenty of feedback on the PTR on how bad it was, yet remained unchanged since its implementation. 10/10.

    I'd rather have it be insignificant than actually have it be substantial with how it mechanically works. Its one of the last thing destro needed as designed.

    If it did damage the Havoc target it may have ended up influencing talent choices (Wreak Havoc).

    It was a bad idea to make a Havoc trait to begin with. There's nothing you can do with it that doesn't either end up being overpowered, underpowered or step on the toes of legendaries. They should have done a Chaos Bolt trait instead.

    That. To fix destro's single target wreck havoc needs to be removed. It's simply very difficult to balance decent single target dps with WH. They could just buff the pet but that's in theory not where destro is supposed to be, demo is the pet spec.

    Adding further traits that buff any situation in which havoc is good is simply stupid. That's already where destro is unhealthily good at. Could do something that buffs imp or something that buffs the grimoires, mainly service. that way you can buff single target without affecting 2-3 mob cleave all that much.

    These talents are basically AP sinks that extend the grinding, and therefore the hours played, at very little development cost. If youlook many classes/specs have utter garrbage traits, often located near the end of the chains, to increase the cost.

    At the moment I'm looking at dumping 29,000,000 AP into the totally shit Sinister Seeds, because Rend is gated behind it.

    We've been there before. The artifacts are full of traits that are worhtless fillers. The old talent trees used to have them as well, just valueless garbage you had to take as a step towards something good

    This talent is very bad for destruction, because it is mechanically horrible and is basically an uncontrollable AOE effect thatwill prove to be a pain in the arse at least as often as the damage it does being an asset.

    Just like affliction's Soul Flame explosions, which are out of our control unless you count deliberatly not hitting things in case they die. But even then you can get chains which are all but impossible to stop.
