Reload/exit game problems

Since 7.2, intermittently, when I reload my UI or exit game WoW just stops responding for about 1 minute before doing anything. I've checked taskmanager and this is what I see:

It's saving a huge amount of data to disk every time I reload or exit.

When I check WTF folder I can watch the files being saved 1 by 1, very slowly.

I've tried disabling addons, trying to rule out what is causing it but I can't. It just happens randomly, regardless of addons being on or off as far as I can tell.

I wondered if anyone else had this issue or knows what might be causing it, or has some ideas what to try next. (I've done scan/repair)

Why are you running 2x WoW? Maybe that's the real issue..

The 2nd WoW is from a different copy on this pc, as I was testing if it was my WoW version that was corrupted, but the same thing happened with the other copy. They are from separate installs. Hell, they are even from different HDDs, one is on my SSD and the other on storage drive which is normal HDD. PC is high end, so I could easily run 4+ copies with no issue. Something else is the problem here.

PC sits at 60+MB/s for a minute before wow responds. When WoW is working properly and I'm monitoring task manager, it takes 1-2MB/s max upon reload, and only 5 seconds instead of 1min+.
