Sneakers appreciation thread: post the pair(s) you currently wear!

White shoes are about as bad idea as white boxers.

they are good for about 3 weeks. Then you start wearing them all the time, some cunt steps on them, you take a short cut off the pavement, it rains, you spill beer on them when you are tankslappered.

But they do look swish. This thread lacks hi-tops.

A cheap pair of garbage shoes I got at Big W.

They wear out fairly quickly so I don't see the point of spending a lot of money on them.

Oh and also, I fucking hate lace-ups so that rules out like 90% of upmarket shoes. Why am I wasting time tying laces when there are numerous superior methods of closing a shoe?

Old school suede Vans, black.

Durable, comfortable, that's pretty much all I require from a sneaker.

My only pair of sneakers are classic converse high tops (black) for the rare occasion that I wear them. I wear boots like 99% of the time.

I have a strong utilitarian streak and sneakers fall apart way too fast to be considered a good buy in my mind. Not bashing sneaker wearers, they're just not a good fit for me. Also, when I say they fall apart too fast I'm talking about a timeline measured in decades.
