Is the Shadowlands natural or was it made? As the Emerald Dream was made by Freya but I don't recall the Chronicle mentioning that the Shadowlands was made by anyone.

Says so right on the tin: Yogg-Saron is the God of Death. http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/blog/20079876 https://wow.gamepedia.com/Yogg-Saron_(tactics)#Quotes

Odyn is a fair guess, with Helya as his substitute.
All the Titan keepers are based on Norse mythology.. And in Norse mythology, Odin was the god of Battle and Death.
Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > DF > BfA > WoD = WotLK

The realms of the afterlife in the Warcraft universe always seemed to me to be somewhat automated - or at least designed to do their thing without supervision. There are beings who can interfere with those processes, such as Odyn, Helya, greater demons, and higher powers like the naaru or Elune. But they don't strike me as ruling over death or serving as lords of the Heavens or Hells. Without interference a given soul seems to be drawn either towards the Light or the Void on death, depending on their weight of the corruption - a greater being can halt or possibly reverse this course, unfortunately in either direction as in the example of the Lich King and the Scourge.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
Yes, which is why they were the best guild to ever exist. They went that extra mile and dominated the scene for like 6 yeara.

All very good points, but you're also not including the extra attempts made on alts. That closes the gap significantly

They had to bring him back. Can't just leave questions like "Wtf was Illidan doing on Outlands" or "If he's part demon, does that mean he's still alive somewhere?" alone. Arthas on the otherhand is gone. Bolvar took his place, and DKs orderhall quests are already focused on him instead.
