The current direction labour are going if they were in power they'd probably turn us into the European Venezuela.
I would vote for him, but this is a bit dumb and unnecessary. At this same time, to call it a "new low" is more than a bit dramatic don't you think?
Probably running on a Pentium 4
Labour is going to lose Wales.
They have never lost Wales.
Ever.
Since they rose up in the 1920s on a national stage the Labour party has always won elections in Wales.
Corbyn deserves to be thrown to the wolves for being a pathetic leader unable to tell London to shove it. He has placed such an importance on those London seats and voters that he will lose the rest of the country. Good job.

Corbyn will not get elected so this is moot.
Embarrassing, sure, but not quite as low as Iraq.
Labour trying to bribe the working class as usual.
No ones going to vote for you Corbyn, do the decent thing and step aside.
Agreed. But that doesn't really answer my point. The prior poster was saying that labour would turn the country into Venezuela, but price controls are 1000% exactly what you see happening there every day. So shouldn't he be criticizing the conservative party for Venezuela-izing the country as well?
There are varying degree's of Socialism, just because the Tories are introducing price caps on Energy tariffs doesn't mean they're going full Venezuela, hell I don't even think Labour would go that far, it wouldn't work in the UK, we've got too much capitalism ingrained in us.
Corbyn has a reputation as being very far Left leaning however, which is why people usually conflate his policies with being very similar to Communism.
Umm sorry but I don't think you can get more communistic than price controls. I mean that's literally the sort of thing you saw in the USSR. Hell Cuba still has them.
I just find it very very odd that you call one person a communist but not the actual person that's following a textbook policy of communism.
And? Communism has some great points. Hell you can look at the NHS and call it communist, taking wealth from masses to fund a universal health care system.
There is a difference between taking aspects of an ideology that make sense and going full blown Venezuela.
The majority of European countries are a mish mash of Socialist and Capitalist policies, like I said in my opening post during this dialogue, what would be considered Left leaning in the US and what is considered Left leaning in Europe are two very different things.
As for why peope throw the communist jibes at Corbyn? Comedy mostly.
Beware of politicians bearing gifts, this is essentially a con. A government could declare 100 bank holidays and it will still not benefit anyone. In the UK you as a worker have no right to take a bank holiday off, you have no right to be paid extra for working a bank holiday and also you cannot refuse to work on a bank holiday if your employment contract says you are to work on that day. So the promise of 4 extra days is meaningless and most employers will either ignore it or hit you square in your pay cheque or holiday allocation within your employment contract. All boils down to unless you employment contract is changed you receive nothing no matter what any government says. Corbyn's attempt to bribe us is a total failure when you apply any amount of thought to it.
Update:
Actually looking at the law it's very clear this is a complete waste of time. By law (taken from https://www.gov.uk/holiday-entitleme...ts/entitlement):
"Almost all workers are legally entitled to 5.6 weeks’ paid holiday per year (known as statutory leave entitlement or annual leave). An employer can include bank holidays as part of statutory annual leave."
So for UK workers on a 5 day (or more) work week they are entitled to 28 days off which at the employers discretion can include bank holidays or not. So in a worse case scenario companies can except the new bank holidays and simply reduce the days of your choosing to go on holiday by 4 and say tough you have to take the state bank holidays instead.
