Eh, looks alright but her kit doesn't really excite me. I'll probably pick her up, but only because I must own ALL THE WARRIORS. I can't ever really see myself picking her over Johanna or Arthas.
Unless I get a daily quest for "Play an Overwatch Character"

I wouldn't put her in the same slot as Jo or Arthas. I think she's more along the lines of Leoric, having access to a lot of soft CC but mostly being a damage dealer.
Ablative Armor is what really interests me personally, it's kind of a reverse block. List of heroes who's auto-attacks are reduced by the talent: Abathur, Anub'arak, Arthas, Auriel, Azmodan, Brightwing, Chen, Chromie, ETC, Gazlowe (non robo-goblin), Genji, Gul'dan, Illidan, Jaina, Johanna, Kael'thas, Kharazim, Li Li, Li Ming, Morales, Lucio, Lunara, Malfurion, Medivh, Muradin, Murky, Nazeebo, Probius, Rexxar, Samuro, Sonya, Stitches, Sylvanas, Tassadar, TLV, Tracer, Tychus, Tyrael, Tyrande, Uther, Valeera, Valla, Varian, Zagara, Zarya
It'll be great against mages that rely on a number of ticks to do damage like Gul'dan or Li Ming as well.

I doubt Ablative Armor works against ability damage.

I wonder how it interacts with Giant Killer? Seeing as they are counted as separate instances of damage. Would a 3% Giant Killer be knocked down to 1.5% or will it ignore Ablative Armor?

Am I the only one that really hates her talents?
They feel so meh to me. Some of the later rows are ok I guess, but I don't personally like almost any of them.
Some notes on her.
1 - The lvl 1 speed boost talent operates on a 30 stack base. It decays at a rate of 1 stack a second. Its an extremely good talent.
2 - The lvl 7 W CD reduction talent works on AoE hits. W has anywhere from a 5 to a 2 second CD with that talent, quite excellent for damage reduction.
3 - Alabative Armor works on ALL sources, as long as they deal less then 107 damage at lvl 1. Scaling with lvl, of course.
4 - Mech explosion does not grant XP. In addition, it can continue to soak skill shots during the explosion animation. Haven't been able to test if it can be knocked back.
Overall, a few thoughts.
1 - Seems to fit more into the off-tank role then a main-tank role. She has 2 forms of CC - One is a knockback, the other is her Bunny Hop ult. Thus, she functions more as a debuff-bot with her W on high-damage targets, neutering their damage. This is further emphasized by her extremely high damage pilot mode - Once she explodes her mech, she can go pilot mode with a main tank, contributing to damage until there is a need to tank again.
2 - She is countered hard by CC - Stuns/Silence disrupts her Q/W, and prevents her from casting E. Bunny Hop can help to alleviate this though.
3 - Bunny Hop at 20 is just broken. Charge in, hop on a squishy, delete squishy, then explode the mech.

incorrect thinking. this is not a "trend" in the context you refer to.
Moba's release with their initial ideas for hereoes. Dev team is still creating ideas, coming up with stuff, watching plays, picking up on what works/what doesn't, learns how to be more imaginative with the engine/etc to pull off more varied abilities and soon knows how to properly implement more unique ideas they had in the past and balance it better. They then take all they have learned and go back to the old heroes.
this is a progression of learning and experience by the creators. They refine their art and since their old art is still engaged actively, they go back to work on it again.

Does calling her mech reset her HP?
That is, if she's about to die in Pilot and E comes up, will she go into her mech at full HP or almost dead?
If the former, will her Pilot HP carry over to the next time she's out of her mech? Will hopping out/dying in the above example put her back at almost dead?

It's a fresh health bar going in, unsure on whether she maintains her pilot health, but I would guess so.
