Ummm a false equivalence would require that I actually made a specific comparison, which I didn't. I made a general assertion. Now you could ask that I back up that statement with examples, which I'd be happy to do, but that isn't what you did. Your grasp of logic is lacking, and you aught to know what a fallacy is before citing it.

The GOP does not get any credit at all for removing that provision, once the public found out about it. It is not a redeeming character trait to stop doing something wrong once you got caught.
