I've been playing Hunter since BC. Since then, I haven't found a second class that matches up to my attachment to Hunters. If your here, I already know you main a hunter, but what is your secondary character/alt of a different class if any?

I started playing just before Wrath, and it has been hunter and hunter only since then, until Legion was released. I managed to level my first alt ever to max which was a Shadow priest. I absolutely love the theme they have now and still enjoying them, almost made the 'main' switch to my Spriest just before Nighthold, but ended up not being able to 'demote' my hunter to an alt :P
Definitely a fire mage. I've played every class to 90+, but I have to say that the mage is the only one that rivals my love for hunters.
I've dual-mained more often that I've just focused on hunter. Usually hunter+resto druid. Currently I'm raiding on both hunter and druid but also have a warlock that's catching up quickly on gear.
I don't enjoy only focusing on one character as much. My hunter may be my fave but she'll probably never be my only.
Prot Paladin
DK, mostly DPS but I tank on rare occasions too
Warrior in vanilla/TBC
DK from Wotlk
Druid since 7.2
I'm not playing alts a lot anyway (except to get Legion recipes because I love goldmaking) since I'd rather work on my main's BLP doing randoms/LFR/M+ but I do bounties () and Broken Shore dailies on at least one alt
I switch it up, but I always come back to Mistweaver Monk, Frost DK, and Guardian druid as my primary alts.
Well, I used to have a dual main with my prot pally... until I made the prot pally my main because Hunters feel awful right now.
A simple change that can improve the female worgen:

Resto Druid atm. Tried a few other specs but have the most fun with this one so far.
Each expansion different alt.
Now DK
I did play hunter as a main till they removed it this expansion now my second in line was protection paladin/Feral Druid. Play those now as I have done forever, also toying around with my rogue and just finally now got back on the hunter, so sad what it has become..
Got a Guardian Druid. Mainly because it serves as a farmer for mats for my Hunter. Hunter is Alch/JC, Druid is Miner/Herb.
Legion is not alt friendly with how artifacts work. Also, alts really only viable once you get flying. WoD was more alt friendly.
really didn't do much alting since Wrath, I played some Mage/Pali in Mists, but in Legion I've been going pretty hard at the Warrior. Really just to make a point, that if I wanted to play a Melee, I'd roll a damn Melee class.
In one day you can boost a toon to AK 25, and max out their Weapon enough to unlock the empowered traits. (Aprox 4 hours as Damage class) and if you did any invasions while leveling you will have enough order resources to start your next two research
Shaman. Mine has pretty much been my second most played character since I started playing in TBC.
I've always had a few alts, shaman, paladin druid. In WotLK I picked up dk (like 1000000000 other people) and enjoyed it, particularly Frost. Its one of the few melee classes that I am thoroughly enjoying this expansion. I still main Hunter, but am playing my DK a lot.
fotm: so im currently playing affliction/frost dk.
in our mainraid im always doing unwanted jobs so our mages / other dps can go for max dps and ignore most mechanics. i picked hunter because i wanted to have the biggest possible responsibility. on my alt(s) i want to go ham.
