    GPU Upgrade for GA-970A-DS3P

My son is looking to upgrade his GPU, it's a slightly older build but I feel like the CPU and memory or ok? Any thought on a budget GPU that would work well with existing components? Thanks all.

    Motherboard: GA-970A-DS3P rev 2
    GPU: Radeon R7 200
Memory: DDR3 8GB (not sure of make and model at this time)
    CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera

The R7 200-series are older (could be anything from 240 to 250X, but none of those are particularly strong) and are the weakest link of the system. What power supply does he have in that PC, and what games does he play?
    Super casual.

Sorry for the LONG delay, he has a 600 Watt 80+ Power Supply, this PC is from "CyberPower", he plays any FPS, ARK and some BF, other components include

    8GB DDR3-2133 XPG V3
    GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P AM3
