That is one amazing show, no punches held, no art sacrifices to the P.C. gods.
My only question is - will it survive the onslaught from mainstream US - because to be honest, it is pretty extreme for mainstream production.
Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.
I wanted to check this out, i love McShane and Lincoln (the dude in the still frame - Ricky whittle) was one of my favorites on The 100.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. So far this first episode was pretty dang good and has me hooked already.
Have been waiting for this show after I saw Hannibal. Looks very promising.
Peter Stormare is in it, so i will watch it.
A bit odd to be honest. Still the first episode but the main character seemed a bit bland. Well not the character, but the actor. Didn't see much coming from him
Well DAMN. Just got finished watching season 1, episode 1 of American Gods and I have to say... Prime just changed the fucking GAME (or should I say Gaim?).
The casting is perfect:
Ricky Whittle could not be any more perfect for Shadow Moon if they'd reached into the book and dragged him out to play his own part. He manages to bring the audience in and REALLY make you side with him.
Ian McShane has all but made a career out of playing bad boy grifters, and there is no bigger con artists than our revered Mr Wednesday, so it goes without saying that he takes to this role like a Duck to water... Managing to show you in no uncertain terms that he is NOT a character to trust, but at the same time charming you to the point you can't help but side with him.
Visually, this is one of the best shows I've seen in years, the cinematography, special effects, all top class, the use of shadow, blood sprays and slow motion all drag you kicking and screaming along with the cast, making it feel less like watching a show and more like EXPERIENCING it.
I was crazy hyped for this show from the moment it was announced, but I have been burned before... But it's good to know that this show has taken a legendary book and is treating it with the care and respect it deserves.
I really can't WAIT to see what they have coming for us.

Wow. This show got me hooked from the start. The art is just beautiful.
Also the end.. just wtf? Without ever hearing anything about it i guess it's something about old gods vs the new?
I absolutely loved it. I have been waiting a long time for this show. Brian Fuller is one of the creators and I love what he does. I loved Hannibal, and I was a bit upset that it got cancelled because of the ratings. Also, Ian Mcshane is awesome, and I also really like Kristin Chenoweth. I'm a big nerd on mythology so it's a perfect fit.
1st episode was as confusing and spectacular as I wanted it to be
So Wednesday is the devil?

Gonna have to give this a shot. Starz has some good shows under their name, Spartacus and Black Sails both were amazing.
