Maybe destabilizing countries for a few decades ain't smart. Sorry, but God shouldn't bless America for the amount of destabilization and funding/training/equipping of terrorist groups it has done in the last few decades.

A false sense of patriotism is what we have on this forum where a country can do no wrong, instead of trying to do the right thing and actually do great things. Instead, we have false patriotism, a farce, a joke.

    Totally unrelated, but seriously people.

Gender has nothing to do with the French elections.

yeah I'm confused how gender has anything to do with this. Macron seems like the epitome of a centrist with a hint of social liberalism and competing against basically an alt right nationalist ideologue.

I will say this straight up. If you support neoliberalism it's good. If you don't then don't expect much.

2% of Le Pen voters and 1% of Macron voters went "fuck I done stupid!"

Sure, but without the party, she loses her core support. It wouldn't be the first party infight that destroys the election numbers.

That's actually the exact opposite, second turn always has higher turnout, it's the first time in french history that it isn't the case.
In fact, the low participation and high amount of blank votes are a big subject.

So inform yourself first next time.

Good riddance, it's good to see the French keep their heads cool while the british and americans can't, from this day on it's the French who should make fun of the brits and americans, god knows the french have been the subject of many american/british jokes.

It's pretty much a good thing. Le Pen was a heavy pusher of French nationalism akin to Donald Trump in the US. Macron is almost the definition of a centrist while being socially liberal. He's not going to make some enormous waves but it's a victory unless you support the French's version of the alt right.
