I believe that it is possible but what would their roles/specs be? Where would they fit in a Dungeon/Raid Party?

What would Tinkers bring to the table
I don't mind the idea. Could add a little flavor.

Not next expansion. 2 classes in 2 expansions is just a bit over the top imo. Maybe a bit later down the line.
When I think Tinker, in WoW, I think of this guy:
I could see Tinkers having 2 roles. Tank (Melee or Ranged) and DPS (Melee or ranged). Personally, I would love to see two tank specs and one dps spec. The tinker would essentially pilot a suit that would "upgrade" as they level, constantly swapping items on their suit. This would make most suits very unique between layout, color, and skill.
That's just me though.
Would there be limitations to using this Class. For example, would you have to be 700 skill level with engineer before unlocking this class? I wonder...
If we get any kind of technology class. I bet its gonna be a Gnome/Goblin only class using Mekkatorque's battle suit, and Goblin Shredders.
If what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Then I should be a god by now.
Not sure I would tie a proff req to it. However, as a Tinker, you would have to level your "Tech" skill in order to enhance your suit, weapons, and armor. This is why starting at 1 would make for a great time. Maybe you don't get your suit til lvl 10, and you are in an isolated starting zone, much like Worgen, Goblins, and DKs.
Could they have a special mount made of mechanical pieces? Like a Mechno-saber or something and a flying mount like a Mechno-Gryphon/Wyvern. That would be cool...

Sporks, probably.
I'd prefer Warden but to be honest, they are getting so many classes and having trouble managing all of them even in PVE, PVP is a whole different story and bag of problems.
Content drought is a combination of catchup mechanics and no new content.
