My question is why would blizzard wastes their resource on new models instead of giving us a new raid tier?

Honestly, Blizzard knows about the Modding Community (nude mods and such). They know they are no harm to WoW and generally leave them be.

If it keeps people playing and they don't turn into Cheats, Blizzard isn't gonna bother banning them.

I've seen lots of people don't play legion since old models are gone. It is not nostalgic. Old models feel just better than new models for them.

I don't even play my blood elf characters because old models are gone.

Most people i know don't give a flying fuck. Why would they prefer minecraft models?
