Need Help With New Mouse

I just received my mouse in the mail today. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1).


What I'm trying to do in-game is bind the 1-12 keys on the side of the mouse to different abilities, but it looks like the side keys are also bound to 1-9 on the Keyboard (for example, when I click the 1 button on the side of the mouse, it triggers my Steady Shot, so does the 1 button on my keyboard.) I want it so that I can use 1 for Steady Shot and the side button 1 for a completely different ability


I just tried binding the 1-6 keys with a shift modifier with the mouse's software, and it's still using 1 as if shift is being held down


Edit: I literally just figured it out with trial and error. lel
