cant connect to steam

Every once in awhile, randomly, I can't connect to Steam. *shrug* It happens. Check it in 5mins.

Currently I am able to connect to Steam via the windows client.

Go offline, get into settings, set you downloading region to something like germany or UK. Fixed it for me.
