Does this clown of a president really think he can get any coin from this?

Also start doing this to European brands and pretty much kiss brands like Tesla their future good bye in Europe.
Europe needs the the US a hell of lot more than the US needs Europe. Most of Tesla sales are state side. The extra cost will be passed on to the consumer not the manufacturer. If a consumer truly wants the product they will pay for it.

Proof this statement, since most of your post are nothing more than nationalist chest thumbing proof it by the numbers. Your mind is stuck 50 years in time.

How would you like me to prove it my friend? Whatever link I use will be disputed by the peanut gallery.

Not your friend and you claimed it so proof it. Don't dance around the question proof it by the numbers if you can make such statements with certainty you don't need to be able to proof with me holding your hand and telling you how.

Tesla uses German companies for parts. They even bought out Grohmann and they also use Kuka robots. That Tesla saves at their end, the workers is known, as evidently working for them is a health risk.

EU Tesla sales are just over 20% of their sales. A "trade war" would not kill Tesla. Companies have had 20% loss in sales before. EU citizens that want a Tesla will just go to another country and purchase one.

Got it you're unable to proof and are using a brand who recently set out to deliver a new cheaper model to compete on the european market, meaning you are completely unaware of current developments.

    Thanks for playing.

Who knew working a factory job could be dangerous? Lol...

Of that I am sure they do. They can just source the part somewhere else if need be.
    You people are talking whataboutisms.

Interestingly enough, the European parts manufacturers that were purchased by Tesla terminated their contracts with German car makers. So German car makers are scrambling for a replacement. There's a war already going on

That is more of a purchasing tactic.
Governmental import tariffs will superceed these contracts.

It's not whataboutism if you point out where they try to stay competitive by saving on workplace security and other measures aimed at workers so they can maximize the profit span which is what they need in order to stay competitive. Before you say it's normal to endanger workers: try that in a German car factory and you will have the authorities breathing down your neck.

It's only one company but the contracts signed are still in effect and I'd think BWM, Daimler & Co. are not going to let this go easily. Elon Musk has already his hands full with the IG Metall. Funny thing about worker unions in Germany: They actually have teeth.

Many politicians are hypocritical. That is what make them so great, right? Look at Bernie for instance. How many houses does he have? Al Gore wanted us to be carbon neutral while he jetted around spewing CO2 everywhere.

Better throw in Hillary while you are at it to defend trump, seeing that's generally the go to person. As if two possible candidates haves have any relevance on the current president actions and stances.

Why can't Bernie own houses? Senator pay is stupidly high, hypocrite would be if he was one of the ones voting to increase it.

The whataboutisms is the "trade war". It hasn't happened. And it may not ever happen. We can speculate on all we want, until a trade war happens between the US and EU we don't know what would happen.
Right now, there is speak of an import tax of vehicles coming into the US. Of which 25% of the worldwide import vehicle sales is done by the US alone. The US is taken for granted. Now whether or not this import tax will include parts and assembled pieces I do not know.

Socialism... shouldn't he give one those houses to someone who can't afford one? It's fine for you to give your money away. Just not his.
