Well done May, https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...dget-cuts-come
Know someone on the Force there in London through gaming, let's say he was never really flattering about the pay they get and the hours they had to run and how understaffed they were.
Another person radicalized and more to come, the death cult ISIS is great in recruiting lost souls offering them some sort of redemption for their life. Terrorism is the root cause regardless of what ideology is behind it, Americans commenting on Islam once more take not your President recently struck the biggest weapon deal with an Islamic nation that exports this ultra conservative and hostile ideology of Islam to the mosques abroad with their money and spiritual teachers.
These van attacks will be hard to be stopped only thing you can do is infrastructure changes and even stricter controls.
At this point i dont care if i get banned cause reading some posts here is making me cry. To all people that somewhow still defending islam, you got serious highly damaged brain and should be taking care in mental hospital. BAN ISLAM IN EUROPE!
How? Please try to be logical for a moment. They killed 7 people yesterday, which is horrible - but it wont put a dent in the western population.
Their motive is to sow terror, that's why we call it terrorism.
What they want is people like you being outraged at muslims in general, and in turn bring these muslims that feel rejected to their radical faith.
Its not about killing christians/westeners - thats just a bonus. Their main goal is recruitment.
I'm not saying there are no problems, or we shouldn't crack down. We should crack down on them even harder! We shouldn't allow SA to build indoctrination centers in europe for weapon deals. There are a lot of things we should do.
But blaming the religion as a whole, at best wont help, and at worst will enable more terrorists.
I don't believe in that saying, never have - and i've never used the word islamophobic, as it is problematic by itself.
That depends on where you're looking. There is that scene described where Jesus used the whip to drive out people trading in- and directly outside the temple, seeing that a lot of it is happening today again...I think I need to undust my whip Then there's the statement of bringing the sword which has been much abused as well. Having had my share with fanatics myself I tend to say thank the system for our laws because if these people ever had to get a say things would be bad. The difference is that Christians rarely feel motivated towards terrorism because the state and fellow humans were not explicitely not seen as enemy and even adhered to obedience as indicated by "giving the Emperor what belongs to the Emperor" mainly because they don't see earthly existence as relevant (hence also why a lot hardliners object to environmentalism but I don't want to digress). Also since Islam didn't exist during Jesus' times the entire concept of how counter-religiosity is based on extrapolation rather than direct peu-a-peu guidelines. Anyways, the NT does not explicitly invalidate the OT as well since that's one of the core doctrines actually the difference is that non-Jews are not bound by Jewish laws hence why it is more used as a replacement for guideline character rather than something to live by even though, again, there are always hardliners.
Islam is in fact different and its basic outline is very socialist. It also uses the same militant language as the OT. Here's the thing though: scriptural religions have a tendency to be constantly up for interpretation, whether something was meant literally, metaphorically or proverbially is differing from scholar to scholar. Heck, there is even talk about whether some books are even incomplete or have been altered from early on to fit one's narrative. This is why using the content of their scriptures is usually a moot and irrelevant in secular law contexts.
Anyway the gist is, as long as interpretation is possible you are only going to see what you want to see, as an outsider, as a believer or as a fanatic. They all may have entirely different views on a written subject and this is why I find it fruitless to do so because these verses are not going to vanish over night. They will always remain there and the solution for this would be some act that would incorporate genocide and thought-policing. Good luck on that.
Most victims of terrorists are Muslims themselves, it is a tragedy when six people die in an incident like this but two days earlier 15 times as much died in a blast in Kabul, in one of many. Maybe it's just me but if it's an actual war of Muslims then everyone would participate and be mostly spared in an attack, since that isn't happening I am going to say that terrorists want as always sow confusion, fear, instability, distrust, discontent and hatred. Which is where they are succeeding right now. Not just here but right there in their own homelands.

We must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people. If we don't get smart it will only get worseAt least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/...31574649901056Do you notice we are not having a gun debate right now? That's because they used knives and a truck!
Your apathy appalls me to be honest. It is one thing to be foolish enough to allow the barbarians through the gate but to apologize constantly for their actions and lets be clear here it is a rather common head line hearing how the religion of peace just massacred a group of people.
What I am saying is to act and act soon because I know what comes next... You think what I suggest is the worst thing that happens? When people finally do act. When they get tired of being told to get "used to it" They will resort to witch hunts and the streets will turn into war zones.
When peace offers suffering, fear, pain, and death. The lure of war becomes ever sweeter.
I don't think we can ever achieve victory... We have forgotten that war is supposed to be a savage and terrible thing. I do not honestly believe the western world will ever get rid of this problem.
What we will do is cut the weed down and leave its roots healthy in the ground.

We all inherit the world our parents gave us. I don't claim its fair that child will suffer for the cowardice or foolishness of its parents just as we all would. What is in question is what future that child will leave to its children.
Barbarians through the gates. Now honestly, if you start with that loaded a word, how can we even discuss?
The terrorists were muslims. Not denying this.
Islam is the problem. This i am denying. Sure, there are elements to islam specifically and religion as a whole which can be used as justification for terrorism, but imo it's not the main problem.
And as soon as i don't see it that way, your whole argument shambels.
And it doesn't even make sense, as most of the victims are muslims themselves. How can this be a war of islam against other religions, when the vast majority of the victims are muslims?
And you're projecting too much of your stereotype leftist on me. Crack down on them. Deport them much earlier and full surveillance of the law. We have the tools, most of the time its the inefficiency of the bureaucracy like in germany, where the terrorist should've been deported a long time ago, but wasn't because of some missing papers (and no, he didn't loose them, the government weren't producing them). As i said: Crack down on them with the full force of the law.
The only thing i don't want is specific rules for specific religions, because that is not only contrary to the western values i strongly believe in, but it is in my point of view also contract-productive.
Stop straw manning.
I'm saying that breivik did not commit terror for his christian faith, he had Other motivations.
Therefore, why should Christians condemn him?

Ah yes, the bavarian catholic league.
Oh wait, no catholic league...
Does not make it about religion.@NI Conflict: it may not be the most important topic, but the standing of catholics within the UK has been the big narrative in ireland the last 500 years. I know they didn't fight strictly on a religious line (as the protestants were allied with the pope against the catholics that supported fance) but you cannot ignore that this had a lasting and fundamental impact on the whole ireland topic since the curse of Cromwell.
I want to stop terrorism, if that offends some Muslims so much they become terrorists, well, 5.56 works wonders on those too.The rest about high ground: Yeah, if you want more terrorist attacks and more terrorists, go ahead and show em!
