Help With New build for Friend

So I have a friend I play WoW with in Canada who is looking to build a new computer. This would be a first time build for him, so I wouldn't pick anything super difficult to put together unless it's really recommended.
-roughly a $3000 budget (he said $4000, but he also needs keyboard/monitor/speakers and such)
-Lives in Canada, if that changes pricing and what not
-Mainly plays WoW, but says he wants something able to play any game, as well as something that will last him for years

I'm not great at the actual part picking thing, so some help would be greatly appreciated

Is budget in CAD or USD?

If your friend decides to go for 1080ti, make sure he doesn't buy a 1080p monitor, 1440@144fps or 4k@60fps, though as someone who went from 1080@60 to 1440@144, I would highly advise on picking that route (xl2730z is the one I have) over 4k.

Oh and, if it's his first build, AIO cooler might be difficult to install.
    PM me weird stuff :3

AIO coolers are easier to install than most air coolers.

    I'd go with a 3440x1440 setup.
