Am I the only one who thinks its completely blown out of proportion to sentence someone to jail for 5 years for a charge of sending an offensive message (I mean nobody will realistically argue that the ''25 babies a night'' message on kik is a real threat to anyone) and downloading some internet porn? A process during which nobody got hurt.

Don't get me wrong, this guy is probably a little sick in the head and should def get the treatment he needs but to essentially destroy someone's life seems a little blown out of proportion.

This wasn't because of porn -_- he's been a pedo since he was 13. That shit isn't going to change regardless. He only ended up finding out about his pedophile status when he came across porn OF CHILDREN which, like I said, is already illegal. If he didn't realize it from porn then he would have realized it when he went to the park and little Susie's underwear made his peepee tingle. If people want to have sex, film it and distribute it to adults- why is that any of your business or what right do you have to tell them not to?

The case of this young man exposed to porn- parents have an obligation to watch their children, that he was exposed is his parents fault, not porn.
