Easy if you have a history violence or medical conditions that make you a danger to others you don't get one. If you do something illegal with a gun after you own one your penalty should be more severe.

I agree the penalties should be severe. All crimes committed with a firearm, (armed robbery to murder) should be a federal crime and should not be plea bargained.

Drug control has failed while Gun control has precedent of working. Rehab centers and treating drug addiction as an illness has worked wonders in countries that have implemented it.

Dude, no, Chicago! F'ing Chicago, that is all anyone needs to say to you or anyone else who tries this argument. Gun control does not work. It has worked in countries that have surveillance on every f'ing street corner. There are countries with far less gun control than the United States with less gun related crime, it is daft honestly to keep making this argument. The problem in the United States is we have two government choices, the bleeding heart side and the war mongering side, and neither has any f'ing idea how to stabilize the economy, thus more civil unrest and more crime. Not to mention we lay out the red carpet for the pharmaceutical companies to shovel untested pills in the mouths of unstable people.
