893 Frost Mage Looking for Dps Help

Here are my logs from last Tomb just seeing if I could get any tips on what to improve on from what I saw I have a good opener then slowly end up at the bottom of the dps charts. Any help would be appreciated.

hmm, where to begin..

starting with your stats, you need to get versatility. your crit is good, haste is good, but your mastery is way too high.; drop some mastery for a LOT more vers (8-12%) (keep the mastery gear in case you ever go glacial spike build though)

looking at your casts, you dont seem to be following your instant flurry procs with an ice lance, which you should be doing 100% of the time.

you got several brain freeze procs but didnt use them and continued to cast multiple frostbolts. when you get a brain freeze proc, finish your next frostbolt and immediately flurry into an ice lance.

you spend a lot of time just not casting anything at all. not sure what you're doing there.

you interrupt a lot of your casts to move, which you should never do. utilize shimmer for positioning and ABC. Always Be Casting. Only stop casting to move if you have no more shimmer charges and you absolutely have to move.

you only ice veins'd twice in a nearly 7 minute fight. but this is because you died halfway through the fight.

your biggest problem i think besides not using your procs as you get them is that you simply do not cast enough.



you have the time warp ring, but unless im mistaken it doesnt look like you or your raid lusted even once?

i hope this doesnt come off as harsh. sometimes to get better its good to be crystal clear on what were doing wrong.

make sure all your abilities are bound, use the blizzard spell alert system or an addon to keep track of your procs, and never stop casting!

here's my parse from tonight if you'd like to go through and do some comparisons on the casts and buff usage, etc. gear is a bit of a factor in amount of procs i get versus you, but you can get a rough idea of how i manage my time and my procs in a fight.
